ATWT Names The New Lily
Noelle Beck, best known to daytime audiences as LOVING's Trisha (from 1984-93 and in 1995), has been named as the replacement for ATWT's exiting Martha Byrne, whose last day at work as Lily was March 14. Before the announcement, Byrne had this advice for the actress who would take over her signature role: "Have fun. You’ll be working with an incredible group of people who will support you and love you and make you feel at home and help you." Beck's first air date has not yet been released.

I didn't even realize she was leaving again. She will always be the only lily for me. The last times they changed her it did not work for me. when she came back I enjoyed the show much more. Oh well

Did you see Allison's hair? Wow. From platinum blonde to a dark brunette.

Will Katie finally say yes? Will Mike get in the way?

Can't wait.

I haven't seen it yet. How does it look? I though it was too white around her face and washed her out! So I might like the new look better.

For some reason I'm not looking forward to Mike. The actor being 26 is a big part of that. Why couldn't they keep him mid 30ish?

Not sure if I like it yet. She went by too fast. My first reaction was shock then that the color didn't look natural but we'll see.

I don't want Mike back. I agree though, that 26 is WAY too young for Mike.

I really want Carly and Jack together again and Brad and Katie together and Henry and Vienna together but doubt any will last. It's just no fun that way, right? It would be nice, though, for awhile. Espcially for Brad and Katie. I would love for them to have a baby!

The outdoor scenes this week with Carly, Jack and Ruby were filmed outside the church my parents attend. This is in Park Slope, Bklyn. The church was given $1,000 for the use of the parking lot where they filmed that day. Also, the cast/crew used the auditorium for food. Also, I was surprised that this was filmed only about 2-3 weeks ago. It used to be that they were about 3 months ahead of schedule. Just thought maybe you'd be interested in knowing this.

That is neat. I thought they were at least a month ahead now. I know Lily (the only Lily ) finished filming 2 wks ago, and her last airdate is next month.

Yep Faith was on for a minute but not long. Sadly that's usually the way it is with the younger kids. She'll probably be aged before long.

And she is such a good little actress. I was hoping they'd use her more in the Parker story (he is an awesome actor!). They'll probably recast her as a 15 yr old paperdoll soon to be Parker's love interest-can't have any excess baby fat in soap world! I thought they were really cute together in the Paul storyline.

You are probably right - but i really hope not - I think she is cute and reminds me so much of Emma - you could almost think they were really related. And I like that she isn't your typical - paperdoll actress.

Casey and Ameera are at Java talking when the INS comes up and questions their relationship. Luke saves the day by saying that Casey is his boyfriend. Casey, seeing this as a chance to spend more time with Ameera, goes along with it. Van Hansis (Luke), says in SOW that Casey and Luke do try and make it look real and their are more funny than the situation itself. He adds that viewers have plenty to look forward to, including Luke hitting on Casey and says that he and Jake (Silbermann, Noah) have been working a lot more. In the same article, Hansis also teases that the show will be bringing back a character from the past. SOW hints that it might be Jade.

Also, some weird spoiler that Carly cries on Holden's shoulder. You don't think they'd go there?

AS THE WORLD TURNS: An INS agent comes to the farm and finds it odd that Ameera and Noah don't share a bedroom or a bed. When the INS agent questions Casey and Ameera's relationship, Luke tells him Casey is his boyfriend. Gwen and Will prepare to leave town. Sofie has an emotional goodbye with Hallie. Carly wants to move forward with Jack, but he doubts they would work as a couple. Carly begs Jack for another chance, but he refuses. Katie tells Margo that Brad has proposed and she's thinking about marrying him. Katie says yes to Brad's proposal. Emma tells Holden and Lily she wants to sell the farm. Emma agrees to let Lucinda buy her farm, but Meg reminds her that Paul now owns Worldwide. Paul is very interested in purchasing the farm, but Holden insists his sister is not part of the deal. Mike Kasnoff comes back to town, and he tells Emma and Meg he's returned to work for the company that is bidding to develop Emma's land. Lily offers a solution — that Mike and Paul form a partnership — and everyone agrees.

SNEAK PEEK: Casey confronts Luke.

Oh, I hope it lasts. Maybe they can be the new super couple of the show. That (too young looking, but quite handsome) Mike better stay away from Katie and Brad!!

I want Jack and Carly to get back together too!

I was thinking about it the other day. How many super, happy married couples are there on the show? Kim and Bob and Margo and Tom. Is that it? Oh and Holden and Lily but they almost divorced.

Not liking the new Mike - I loved the old one. It's hard for me when they change an actor that I really like. I can't even see Katie w/ new Mike.

I still think Jack would be an idiot to go back to Carly. How many times is she going to hurt him? he deserves better.

Brad and Katie are growing on me.

I know-he is very cute, but more like Adam's age! He is just too young for Mike. I've been watching too long to take drastic character changes lightly!
