Official Arrested Development Miraculous Return Thread **Spoilers of original series*

I found this on an AD quotes site because I didn't want to paraphrase the brilliance of Ron Howard's narration. This is one of my favorite little scenes.

[the Bluths have hired Andy Griffith to sit in on George Sr's hearing]
Lindsay Funke: Bad news. Andy Griffith turned us down. He didn't like his trailer.

[the camera pans over to reveal the log cabin truck]
Lindsay Funke: He thought we were making fun of him.

Narrator (Ron Howard): They were not making fun of Andy Griffith. This cannot be stressed enough.

LOVED this. SO much.

I just happened to stumble onto this while looking at Google Images. This is for you hambirg!

This site, http://macguffinandpuffin.wordpress.com/2011/09/04/arrested-development-roundup/ has everyone, you just have to scroll down to the bottom. They even have a blue Tobias!

Sweet mother of... How did I miss this news?!? I'm sooooooo excited about this, I could dance on my desk!!! (It's not like my co-workers don't already think I'm a fruitcake anyway because of "that Disney thing"... LOL) :rolleyes1

YAY to have AD back!!!!!!!

Has anyone confirmed which original cast members will be involved? Will Arnett is on another series right now.

He was at the press conference with the rest of the group, so I believe he will be on. I don't think they would go forward without him. He can film while his new show (however long it will last) is on hiatus. I think everyone is going to be back. Portia DeRossi has a movie or a tv show in the works, but I'm sure they will work around her, as well. I was most worried about Michael Cera, as he as become a hot property, but I think Mitch Hurwitz knows how much the fans would be disappointed if the whole cast couldn't return. It would be nothing short of a disaster.

They are all coming back and will shoot the episodes (9 or 10) and the movie all together in the summer so tv shows should be on hiatus.

Each episode is going to focus on someone different and then the movie will bring them all back together. :)

They are talking 2013 for a release but not sure on what network.

Yeah!

Thanks for that info!

Hmmmm, whose episode do I want to see the most? GOB and Tobias. Anyone else want to choose?

:lmao:

Love the cooler of evidence!

I wonder if they will bring back Bob Loblaw? My kids used to love saying that. . . Bob Loblaw's Law Blog Lobbing Law Bombs. :rotfl2:

And the two seater bicycle! Heck, even I like saying Bob Loblaw. Scott Baio and Henry Winkler were great in AD. Oh, I just remembered the commercial for Bob Loblaw, when he keeps shutting the book from different camera angles!!

I bought the original full series on DVD and only watched a couple episode's. Just could not get into it at all. :confused3 Hopefully with the return of it I'll be able to sell the set on craigslist.

I'm sorry you didn't like it. Different strokes, huh? As you can see, I'm fanatical about it!

Honestly I think some shows are great as stand-alone episodes and other shows are truly great when watched in sequence and the more episodes you watch the better it gets! Seinfeld was like that. Each individual episode was good but a season, as a whole, was fantastic. I feel the same way about Arrested Development. When I watched occasional episodes I thought it was good. When I finally sat down and watched the whole season I was practically hyper-ventilating from laughing.

Give it another shot!!! :dance3: :happytv:

I don't think we were hooked until episode 3 or 4.. but then the jokes all start building off of each other and you realize how clever everything is.

Only thing I'm worried about is where it will be shown. They are saying Netflix or Showtime?

I have Netflix. If it's Showtime, I'll be signing up for it!! :happytv:
