Has anyone with an April vacation received their Mickey Mail? You know I've been a pain about waiting when my DH had to pic message me on my cell with PhotoPass+ arrived today.

NOTE: Arrived today and I ordered PPP on Feb 27th online. (had not purchased the regular PP yet, so new order) So one week exactly from order to home!!!!

I hope they are wrong about the snow tomorrow. I for one would not like a snow day (though DD and DS would gladly take it)

My kids are now going to school until June 28th due to the Blizzard. They toyed with taking away April vacation, but way too many people (many teachers included) have vacation plans already.

So you are doing the cruise and the park? How does that all work? I haven't done a cruise yet. Do you fly to FL to board the ship? How many in each?

doing 6 nts. at wdw first, then go over to the port for 3 nt cruise

Welcome to April thread. I'm also from S.E. MA - Somerset. I don't think we're getting much of anything just rain and wind. I hope!! I am so sick of snow.

I'll be in Brockton for DS's hockey game next weekend.

We've gone in April a lot and have seen people we know down there and have met lots of people from MA.

OMG the car palace!!! The building is just down the street from my house. My parents never let me go there lol

My boys are turning 16 EEK!!! And 12 in June.

I really can't wait for palm trees and sunshine either!! I'm a teacher and I tell my colleagues at work how many days are left until April vacation every day at lunch. They laugh at me but if they were going to Disney they'd do the same, right??

Ooooh, exactly 5 weeks from right now, I will be in our AoA Nemo Suite ot on our way to MK!!

I saw a couple people did. But think most of us haven't. I've been PIF since first week of February. Thinking its been around the 30 day mark in the past. I'm 3 days behind you, so we shouldn't have too much longer.

Yes!! We got ours last week. We are 31 days out today so maybe around 38 days. Can't really remember

We received our April Mickey Mail back in early February & our trip isn't until April 19th. I hope we get more. With Disney sending it so far in advance, we really lost out on the excitement of the kids finding it in the mailbox, etc. Of course, I guess really it is just paper. Being AT Disney brings it's own kind of excitement.

I'm really sorry that you have to cancel your trip and eat the cost of the tickets, but huge, good developments are good! So, whatever is going on, congratulations!

Sorry u had to cancel ur trip to WDW. Hopefully ur huge developments are happy ones.

Aw, sorry to see you go but glad that there is something good coming your way. Your dh just has to do something magnificent now for your birthday to make up for not going to WDW.

Thanks everyone! These plans came on very suddenly. It's really difficult because I can't actually share the good news with anyone yet (and it's killing me keeping such a huge secrets). But it is good and in the end makes cancelling the trip worth it. Unfortunately this means DH and I will be in separate cities on my birthday so no luck on "magnificent" plans. I'll just have to live vicariously through you and your trips!

Does anyone know if you can swap out FL resident passes from one person to another. DH didn't use any of his 3 day hopper pass and it'd be nice to know if it could be "transferred" to another FL resident before they expire. (I used one of my 4 days so I know mine is use it or loose it.)

Just popping on here to shout 42 MORE DAYS!! Whoo Hooo! I'm so excited. I've been shopping up a storm (poor DH) stocking up on sunscreen, new t-shirts, fabric to make dresses for the girls, new bathing suits and of course the all important new tiaras for the girls of the family to wear to MK. I did this for my girls last year, let them wear tiaras from my DS's wedding (That have now broke). They LOVED it and begged me to get new ones and wear one too...so after some puppy dog eyes, and much pleading.... Mommy agreed to do it for our first MK day and I talked DSIL to join us so I wasn't alone. Don't get me wrong, I'm a GIRLY girl... like, wear jewelry in the parks with sundresses and epicly large floppy sun hats type of girly. However, crystal tiara, even a smallish one, is a bit much, even for me. So if you see 4 blinged out "princesses" in MK on April 20 just know it's because I really do love my DD's that much and am really good at cohersing someone who's ticket I am paying for into enthusiasticaly playing along

Going to the gym again this morning for the 11th morning in a row hoping to drop a few pounds before our trip, but as hard as I work out, I can't seem to lose even a pound. At least the gym has free tanning so I am getting nice and browned up, and we all know everything looks better with a tan.

We live on a lake where all of the houses used to be summer homes including ours and probably about half of them still are. All the rest are summer rentals still and can you guess who rents them all ( and I mean every last one of them)? People from Mass You girls were earlier talking about a Mass exodus and I was cracking up because literally a few weeks a year and then again at the start of summer a parade of cars comes rolling through and it never fails, every time I say to my husband "What is going on?????"......"Oh yes.......Mass vacation"


I will also point out that when they all roll in for the summer, thats when the fun starts around here.

We are going April 20-27th for my sons Make a Wish trip!! We are not sure where we are staying yet. I know we are staying on Disneys property somewhere because GKTW is full. But we are extending our trip one day and staying at POFQ for the 27th.

I have a quick question! I got my Magical Express vouchers and tag this morning. I made the reservation by internet (not by phone), and gave all my flights info and all.

Now, in the book, on flight arrival and departure info, it says "No flight information provided" ... says I have to call Disney Magical Express. Can I skip the call?? I mean I have better thing to do with my money than paying 10$ of long distance call!!

LOL!! My parents who live in VT have a summer house in NH, and it seems like most of the people there in the summer have a Boston accent. Too funny.

I got an envelope today and got all excited thinking it was my Mickey Mail, or at least my photopass CD, but it was the customized maps I ordered from the website. They are cute. I figured I would let Disney use the printer ink instead of me FYI though, they print them 2 sided. I was thinking we might use them as a framed souvenir, but would have to pick two parks. MK and Epcot are back to back, and HS and AK are back to back. They also included a full park map with the resorts on another page, and a small page of stickers to mark places you might have forgotten to choose, and a special "my resort" sticker. Another neat thing is it marked where all the character meetings are in each park, and also kid friendly activities in each park (Sorcerers in MK, kidcot and phineas & ferb in EP, discovery clubs in AK)
Well worth the time it took to plug in the choices and order!
