:wave2: Hi everyone! We are joining you in April! We haven't been to the World since August 2011, were planning to return August 2013 but I couldn't wait that long!! We will be arriving on my birthday, April 2!!! So excited! And we got our Mickey mail yesterday which makes it even more exciting!!

We are a bit nervous about the Spring Break crowds, but it's not our first trip so we are prepared for anything! And what a better way to spend Spring Break and my birthday!! :yay:

20 days to go!! Hope everyone has a great time!!!

OMG, me too. After all the counting down, and sooo much money, this is all I can think of too. I have been online for the past 2 days researching which hand sanitzers and disinfecting sprays kill norovirus, and everything else. I just now ordered Clorox spray for the room after finding out Lysol DOESnt kill noro, and ordered clorox hand sanitizer spray too since thats the only one they say kills it. NOW I feel prepared and not going to read anymore:rotfl:

Thanks for the tip!! We had this last year on our trip and it was horrible!! I will be getting the Clorox hand sanitizer now! Do you know what stores have it and if the younger ones can use it?

They will be added to your KTTW card or RFID bracelet or whatever they are using when we all get there. Unless you bought your tickets from an outside source you wont have a paper ticket that you hand in at the turnstiles.

I think we'll get a KTTW. I wrote to WL IPO asking if i could request that my wife get a white bracelet when she arrives on Apr 24. The IPO (promptly) replied that they are not allowed to order any bracelets for April.

I don't know if other resorts might have different rules.

Anyon have any thoughts on this day as far as a park is concerned?? I am planning on MK per EasyWDW BUT Touring plans has this is a park to avoid and the busiest part for the day ????? Thanks

We are doing Hollywood Studios that day based on the two crowd calendars I had at the time.

LOL...so I am not alone! I think I might need to get some of that Clorox spray, too. Then I am with you, no more reading about it!

Does anyone know how (or even if you can) to move around the parks/ reservations / activities under My Disney Experience so you can put them in the order you actually plan on doing them????

So, DH isn't deploying after all. He may still volunteer for one before the year is up (he's in a unit that doesn't deploy, which is part of the reason it was weird that he got mobilization orders in the first place). Disney is safe though!

I still have your dates and resort on Post 1. But I don't have any ADRs or PTR listed for you. So glad things have worked out so wonderfully for you!

Well, you can take care of the room but think of all the things you touch in the parks. You need to make frequent trips to the bathrooms to wash with soap and water to really do the job right. I just read that restaurant menus have one of the highest rates of e coli -- eww! I think my new habit will be to visit the ladies' room after ordering my food instead of when we arrive at the restaurant.

We are 23 days out... We booked through a TA and are not getting our tickets until we get there (military).. Wll we even get Mickey mail? Also, is the photo pass worth buying before you go? It's our first trip and I didn't know if I should worry with it, or just wait? Thanks!

Ughhh...so it was not what I was expecting. DH called and had opened it. Just our personalized maps. Oh well...still some good stuff. Now I have maps, PP+ and just waiting on the ME tags!

I think based on my 2010 trip that having the photo pass ahead of time is well worth it. I ended up with about 13 different passes to enter at the end. Starting with one would have made it so much easier. Plus ordering a PP or PP+ ahead of time saves you money. I save almost $50 by ordering last month.

:woohoo:Mickey Mail day!!!:cool1: 32 days for those waiting and wondering when.

I figured it out. I guess because i added it to my package vs. Buying separately, they do it differently and you pick up thecd there

Mine came the same way as yours - a voucher in with all the rest.

Are you flying or driving?
If flying and if you're signed up for Magical Express, you should receive some luggage tags in the mail to put on any checked bags, so ME can pick them up for you.

I joined a Photopass share on Facebook (maybe I'm not allowed to talk about that here? :rolleyes1). Basically, I'm splitting the cost with 7 other people.
Overall, I do like Photopass, because it gets everyone in the photo. It really depends on you whether the CD is worth it though.
If you're planning on stopping and getting your photo taken several times throughout the day, including many different characters and all the park icons, then you'll likely find that having Photopass is a good idea.
It's especially nice to have it during character interactions, because then Mom/Dad can watch or participate in the interaction without a camera strapped to their face.

The Photopass photographers will take pictures with your own camera, but this can be frustrating to juggle. Also, their cameras will already be set to handle the environment (ie. the Osborne Lights can be tricky to photograph).

Once I've made all my edits, I usually get at least 100 photos for my trips. I can usually find at least 10 that would have been worth purchasing individually, so it makes up for the value, since copies start at $14.95. I still prefer splitting the cost with others, but I have paid full price before and didn't regret it. I did, however, regret not pre-ordering it, because that would have saved me a bit of money.

Plus is a more difficult decision. I don't really care about ride photos, especially since we're still at Baby Swap size, so we won't even all get to ride together on most of the attractions that have photos.
The dining photos seem like a cop out to me, because the 2 restaurants I'm aware of that take your picture with characters (except Tusker House) already include a photo package (which can be added to your Photopass) in the cost. I guess they have added in Beast at Be Our Guest.

I ordered the Chlorox hand spray. Thanks for posting. I didn't realize most hand sanitizers didn't kill Norovirus. I hope RCCL knows this and provides the proper protection since they make you use it before entering the dining room.
