2 more days for me and DH! Finally got most of the packing done. Going to visit my mom and step-dad in about an hour, then back home to finish the packing. Our flight is at 7:15 a.m. Saturday morning, so I'm not sure how the last night of sleep is going to go tomorrow night To all that are there now, enjoy your trip! To those getting ready to leave in the next couple days - have a great time. If I see any LGMHs I'll tap you on the shoulder and say hi! I do not have any though Have lots of fun everyone!

Look at all of us leaving this weekend! I'm so excited to be FINALLY part of the "in" crowd that's leaving!!!

Pedicure tonight, and a quick drop by Home Depot for some LGMH. I'll actually try to wear them this time since "hopefully" it won't be a monsoon like my last trip!

Tomorrow, dog grooming appt, drop keys off with my mom for gran-dog sitting, a return some items to the camera store, target for last minute items, laundry, and packing.

That sounds exhausting even to me!

I’m preparing myself and the family that Illuminations may be cancelled Saturday night. I know to expect rain and have prepared for it, but getting hit with severe storms isn't a great way to start the trip. We will make due, rearrange our schedule if need be and still have a magical trip. Monday-Sat are supposed to be beautiful. Two more sleeps until the POLY. It’s great when all of the planning is done and the only thing to stress over is the weather! Packing starts for real tonight.

We leave 6:30am on Sunday so need to be at the airport 3:30am!! Yikes!

We may be on the same flight as you. We are leaving port columbus airport at 10:20am on Sunday. Staying at BWV.

Close but we are flying out of Dayton. Our flight lands at mco at 12:15.

1 week left!!

Wow, we are dropping like flies now!! not many of us left. LOL

Had another beautiful day in DW. Made it to MK for the opening ceremony, rode Splash Mountain, Winnie-the-Pooh, Small World, Pirates of the Carribean, Jungle Cruise, Barn Stormer, Stich, Philharmagic, Swiss Family Treehouse & Barnstormer. Only wated around 10 mins stand by for the barnstormer, everything else was walk on with fast passes for Splash and jungle Cruise only.

We took a break from 1:00 - 6:00 and hung out at the Poly. I even got to have my very first Dis-Meet with Dave! It was great to see him in person, we had a fun time sharing stories of our trio so far!

Lunch was at Casey's (yum!) and supper was at Cosmic Rays (yum again!) ended the night with the Parade, Magic, Memories & You (made me cry) and Wishes. Icecream and a leisurely walk donna Main Street USA and now were down for the night.

Not sure if I had a chance o update on yesterday but we ate at Contempo and it was GROSS! AK w great yesterday too - I even rode EE even though I was terrified!

All in all, this trip is a dream. I don't want to go home!

Tomorrow is a sleep in day and then World Showcase.

LAST day of school today! The students are wild! LOL! But their French teacher is probably even more excited - because in 24 hours we will be on the plane headed south! Our last show rehearsal before break was last night, it was a disaster, but I'm not letting it affect my Disney mood! Pedicure tonight, dog to dog camp, cat to cat camp and last minute packing. C'mon 3:00!

I'm getting more and more excited as the days go by! I'm leaving Tuesday and my office staff keeps asking me, "why are you even coming in on Monday? Take Monday off too!" (As much as I would love to take Monday off, I'm the Supervisor in the office and have a lot to do before I leave.) When they said it again today I said, "What are you guys planning on doing when I leave?" LOL! Of course - I'm going to Disney... so they can do what they want!

I'm beyond excited! I won't be able to concentrate at work today! As soon as I get off work, we are heading to a sleep and fly hotel in StL. Got my eboarding passes a few minutes ago! I'm nervous about all of the rain they are now predicting. We have to cram all of our park time into Friday night, Sat, Sun, and possibly Mon morning if we can get up early enough! But there are alternatives! I'd like to give Fork and Screen a shot, and as for trying something new, DH just wrapped up some side-work for a couple who love DW. They insisted on tipping him and encouraged him to use it to take me to Coral Reef. Seafood is not really my thing, but I saw some options on the menu that I could hang with, so we're going to try them for lunch Saturday. Did I mention I'm extremely excited?

Just in case you check in from WDW, I'll tell you I love the steak at Coral Reef! I just can't eat fish or seafood while they're staring at me from the tank!

We have a 6:30am flight out on Tuesday morning from Long Island! Of course I'm excited to be going to Disney but even more excited to see my daughter who I dropped off there in January. She's in the Disney College Program. One of the kids in the program was just killed by a hit and run yesterday and now we REALLY can't wait to see each other!

Oh, what a tragedy! So glad you're soon going to get to spend some time with your DD. We are leaving on Tuesday as well, but from Dulles. Have a great time!

Yea - my DD called me so upset. She didn't know the girl but it showed her how fragile life is.

She likes the Disney College Program most days. She's in food service and works ALOT! Some days are 12 - 14 hours as well. The past few weeks she's only gotten 1 day off a week as the parks have been busy with Spring Break and Easter. She managed to get 3 days off while we're there and is REALLY looking forward to that! It IS a great experience though.

She also is enjoying, when she does have time, getting into the theme parks for free and running around the theme parks and DTD with her friends!

1 week from RIGHT NOW, we should be in Florida, maybe Jacksonville. My boss the other day mentioned my trip and said when are you gone again, I answered, then she looked at the calender and was FLOORED that I will be gone for 12 days. She said she knew I had told her before she hired me last month but she didn't realize it was for sooooo long. ( my thought was, try to tell me I can't, I will quit this bit**, cause it's paid for and I am GOING TO DISNEY) but she didn't even try to go there.
Work next week will be crazy busy b\c of the newsletter going out, but I will get it all done by Thursday at 2pm then I am OUT OF THERE!!!!!

How many rain ponchos will we use tomorrow night and Sunday morning?….the world may never know, but the weather the rest of the week looks fantastic! I've got a back-up plan if we are too limited at AK on Sunday.

I printed our boarding passes this morning and we are nearly packed but, wow can this day last any longer? Its only 9:40am and it feels like I’ve been here for 10 hours already. My very excited 4 year old gets to pull day “zero” tomorrow from the countdown calendar and it’s off to the airport.

This time tomorrow we should be in route unless mother nature (in Orlando) has different thoughts….
