oooohh, one month and counting sounds SOO good!!!

We are at 47 days to go now
and I bought some new runners finally! YAY!!!
I know - not all that exciting really but i've needed a new pair for running the Expedition Everest 5K challenge b/c my old running shoes are 2 - 3 years old now and I knew I'd need time to get them worn in b/c it's NOT a good idea to run a race in brand new shoes so it's a releif to FINALLY have this taken care of.
Next is swimsuite which is ALWAYS a nightmare UGH!!!

Oh well, If you'd like to see them (mine aren't all that exciting but DD14's are pretty darn cool i must say!) then have a look at my pre trip report at this link.

LOVE the pink shoes! I have a pair of nikes that color (I let my 6 year old pick my last pair of tennies, lol)!! I get comments on them wherever I go ~ ha!

The Planet Green channel is doing some sort of Disney World travel show marathon. I'm watching a behind the scenes show right now. Even though it's bit outdated (they're talking about Toontown) it's putting me in a Disney mood. I may be stuck in front of the tv for awhile.

Have you ever tried Lands End for swimsuits? They fit awesome. I got 2 last year.

Someone posted pictures of the royal guest rooms in the POR thread and they are so beautiful! I can't wait to stay in one. I am so glad I made the decision to switch to a royal room.

Someone just told me on another thread that only 1 water park is open at a time. Is that true?!?! I was pretty sure everything I read in my books said they were both open starting in March...... Could be wrong, if anyone can calms me down and tell me I'm right and they are both open, I'd really appreciate it!

It's exciting isn't it?! We are all getting so close to our trips!

Without knowing what parks you are going to on the other days, I would do the following based on the most recommended days on my favorite trip planning site:

April 16 - EP (Futureworld side only maybe?)
April 17 - AK
April 19 - EP (Sleep in day, World Showcase opens at 11 am)

Count us in. We are making a quick stop to WDW 4/14-4/19. Staying at BC. First we are headed to Daytona for a week w the in laws. So excited this is a last minute trip for us...as I normally plan a year in advance. Plus I got DH to agree to 6 days when it was suppose to be a day trip to MK!!!

My husband and I are going April 18-22 2012. We just went in December, but we live up north and he's getting antsy for the warm weather. We are going the cheaper route this time, staying at All Stars Sports Resort, with dining plan of course.

Let's see... hotel rooms reserved, van reserved, packing lists printed, ADRs at Chef Mickeys, Akershus, and Wishes Dessert Buffet booked, res made at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique... list of in-room breakfasts and shopping list compiled... list of must-see/eat things at each park compiled...

I just need to order my tix from Undercover Tourist or AAA, whoever has the better price. Guess I better not forget that one! But we're not 'til closer to the end of April, so... I got time!

Can't wait!

I am a little concerned about my mom, though. She has bad knees from persistent weight issues (though she's recently lost a fair bit), and can't do a lot of walking. I think she's going to try to get an ECV, but I'm concerned about what will happen if they run out. I guess we can always push her in a wheelchair if we have to... more calorie burn for the rest of us. It would probably be cheaper for her to not rent one from the parks, but we really don't want to have to deal with getting it on and off buses.

Hey girl! I replied earliier already, you must've missed my post. I quoted it again so you can see it now.

And just for comparison, here are my weeks park days for you to see:

Apr 14- flight arrives 11:30 am, Blizzard Beach
Apr 15- HS
Apr 16- Epcot Future World (3 attractions only) & then afternoon @ Typhoon Lagoon
Apr 17- AK
Apr 18- MK (start in Fantasyland and go counter-clockwise til tired)
Apr 19- Epcot WS (11:00 am opens)
Apr 20- MK (start in Tomorrowland & see any other things we skipped over earlier in the week)
Apr 21- full day cabana rental at Poly, flight leaves at 8:30 pm
