OFFICIAL April 2012 DISers! 2 months and counting!

Hey everyone! I havent posted here in a few days so I thought I would pop in and say hi. When the free dining was announced yesterday, I was tempted to switch our trip to September. Even with the airline change fee, it would have saved us more money than the room only discount I currently have booked. But then I thought about it some more and knew that I would never be able to wait 6 more months. I'm having a hard enough time waiting until April!

Our trip is April 14-21, it feels like FOREVER from today =(.

We are doing Seaworld, Universal, and Disney in 7 nights/8 Days

Is that too much?
Well, let's just say you will be absolutely EXHAUSTED when your done :scared:. But I guess it really depends on how much you plan to do each day in the parks. If you go from rope drop til the end of the day then good luck - LOL - I couldn't do it. If you go first thing in the morning (arrive BEFORE opening time) and get your rides done before the biggest line ups start and then leave the park when it gets busy and have some down time for the evening it could be doable. We have 17 days to do WDW (4 + 1 waterpark), Universal (2), Busch (1), SeaWorld (1 + 1 waterpark), Madeira Beach and some shopping days and rest days thrown in so we don't fizzle out. If i recall our last trip covered WDW, USO, SW and it lasted 14 days.

I can't blame you one bit - I would cry if I knew my wait was 6 months right now. haha

My family (myself included) likes to sleep in, so I doubt we will make rope drop. I know we can get more done by doing RD but I just have a hard time setting an alarm clock when I'm on vacation. :scared1:

is there any new info about Goofini? will it be open in April?

The Great Goofini and the Fantasyland Trainstation are expected to open at the same time as the first Dumbo. The waterplay area (Casey Jr I think is the name?) is not expected to open during this first phase.

Just an FYI if anybody still needs to buy tickets-
We usually go through Maple Leaf or UT. DH said that AAA's were cheaper!!
not by much just a few dollars, but it'll be more convenient to just pick them up and not pay extra for shipping. :thumbsup2

Those topiary's always amaze me!!! i sure wish i could take care of my garden as well as they do!!! Mind you i don't get much time to practice taking care of them that much with only 3 - 4 months available for gardening each year :sad2:

Time feels like it's going sooooo slooowwww....I need my vacation!!!

And I agree, the topiary's look amazing!!! I have never been during this time of year and I am SO excited.

I have a (potentially) silly question. Does anyone else have allergies? Is it super fragrant in Epcot with all of this stuff around??

I agree!!! Things seemed to really be gong fast...and then I got to the point where I can say I'm going to disney next month ~ and things slowed down!!

I been there the past several years! I always bring my Advil cold and sinus with me. I am from NY and my allergies act up in May, here. I think the flower and garden festival is about the equivalent of may here!

Thanks for the advice; DBF and I take allergy meds daily anyway...I will make sure to carry some extra just in case!!
