Official answer on room requests.

Last week someone said they were told by a CM that room requests were no longer going to be honored by when the request was made, but by a first come first serve basis at the resort on the day of arrival.

I e-mailed MS about this issue and received a reply yesterday that said WHEN you make the reservation is still the policy for priority. Of course, it is still on availablility as well. That is why specific rooms should not be requested, but specific wants instead.

Thanks Diane. That makes me feel better. I usually limit my requests to Non smoking, first floor then a specific area if at OKW but I'm usually happy with any standard view non smoking at BWV!

I thought the rumor had to be wrong, since it would definately not be fair to those who arrive late in the day.
