Scott- Voice was good but.. the moves. When he took his hands and did a "good ship lollipop" sway I almost died laughing. He needs to give up any hope of choreography because he is just too awkward. Bring out the stool, sit down and sing a ballad that shows your range.

Bo- Awesome as usual. Not my favorite performance (liked last week better) but he will be a star no matter whether he wins this or not. I'd buy his CD.

Anthony- I think he did a good job this week. He seemed somewhat less nervous. Thought Simon's comment about not feeling comfortble about the wiggles was funny. Umm. Simon? Don't think he would WANT you comfortable with his wiggles I can see Anthony developing a following ala Clay Aiken after this show so even though I don't think he will win, he will succeed.

Nikko- Not impressed. Good singer but not a great singer. I thought he was flat in a few areas

Travis- Cute guy, good dancer but when he dances, his singing pays the price. He needs to slow the moves down and show his voice... like they said last night.. this is a singing competition, not a dancing competition. I'm sure it takes a long time for professionals to learn how to sing properly when exerting that much energy dancing. It made his voice choppy.

Mario- He is interchangeable with Nikko to me. Neither of them stick out in my mind. I couldn't begin to tell you what they each sang last week.

Constantine- I adore him. I totally agree that he is not by far the best singer in this competition but he has the total package. I love the way he can stare down a camera when singing and then look like a scared little kid the next minute at judging. But Constantine.. DUDE! STOP PICKING SUCH HARD SONGS! He has GOT to lay off the challenging vocals a bit and showcase his style more. Lets face it, Seal, Sting, oh man my mind draws a blank on last week.. Spin Doctors? NOT easy acts to reproduce. Since they are such originals, you end up looking like a poser in the end. I think he has Sting quality though.. not a fantastic singer but there is something about him, just like Sting. I don't think he will win but I bet this won't be the last you see him. I'd buy his CD.

Anwar- Good singer, good looking, seems like such a nice guy.. but something just seems like it's missing to me and I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I just can't imagine him doing original stuff? I see him as a cover artist - redoing the classics.

I'm thinking Travis & Constantine are gonna go tonight. I know most people like Constantine, but I haven't been impressed and for the most part he performed "okay" last night, but there were a few parts he was flat. Time will tell I guess.

Nikko/Mario - If they could meld, they would be awesome, but alone both are lacking something ?? If I had to pick one to go, it would be Nikko

Bo - At first, I thought he should've rocked harder, even though I love this song, but then realized he was showing a softer side. The fact it was for his Aunt/Uncle made me melt even more - he's my #1, which is so odd since he is not my "type" at all

Constantine - not the best singer but he does have bedroom eyes, which my DD15 says are "stoner eyes" - animal magetism with this one, so I can overlook the pitchy parts

Anthony - still has the best "story" - now we find out he couldn't even speak English until after he moved here. Looks like a blonde Harry Potter, He'll be around for awhile - probably in the top 6 overall (when girls and guys are combined)

Anwar - perfect, by far the best last night, maybe a little laid back/shy but if he and Paula marry, I'm sure she'll change that


Who I think will be gone? Travis for sure, and either Nikko, Scott or Mario,
which is too bad because other than Travis, I think that the others are better than at least some of the girls.

Last year Simon told LaToya the same thing he said to Bo. (it's yours to lose)

I wonder if Seal, Sting, Chris Robinson (or even Eddie Vetter, etc.) would have made it through this competition? I love Constantine and will continue voting for him.

I think Anwar is good, but not sure if there's really a market for what he's got. The rest of them (excluding Bo) seem like a dime a dozen to me.

I don't even see charisma with this ( Constantine ) guy. I see overplayed "smarminess", to make up a word. Now Bo, has charisma. He commands the stage.

I totally agree, yuck!!! I thought he was awful last night, and I hate the way he makes googly eyes at the camera. Ewwww.

My reactions to the guys this week:

Scott - I thought he did a great job singing a song that is a long way from being challenging. Great voice, but the "moves" have gotta go

Bo - Another solid performance. Unless someone else really steps it up or Constantine's groupies manage to sway the vote, i think it's between Bo and Carrie for the title right now.

Anthony - Much better performance from him, but I'm just not all that fond of his voice. He was certainly good enough to avoid the axe this week though, so I hope he does.

Nikko - Tough song to sing, considering who you're going to be compared to. Didn't do bad with it, but nothing to write home about either.

Travis - Good dancer, not much of a singer. He's gone tomorrow night.

Mario - Not bad, but again, nothing to get all that excited over. He finished strong, but I still think he's one of the bottom three this week, right on the cusp of getting cut.

Constantine - He better be glad he's brought in his own fan base, 'cause he's been average at best the past couple weeks. I think the comparisons to Bo really hurt him. But since he does have fans, I think he's safe until we get to the theme weeks. Then we'll find out if he can really cut it.

Anwar - For the first time, I was actually pretty impressed with Anwar last night. Up until about halfway through last night's song, i just didn't see the attraction everyone seems to have towards him. But he finished really strong, and I think I might get it now He was certainly good enough to hang around for a while.

My prediction on who gets the boot: Travis and Mario (though you could flip a coin on the second one).

Hard to Handle is an Otis Redding Song (just don't think the Black Crowes should get all the credit)

I wish instead of the silly questions they have to answer before the performances, they would be asked to tell us something about the song they chose, who wrote it, the history of it, was it difficult for them to learn, why they chose it, etc.

I'd love to know how limited the song list is for them to choose from.

I feel like Scott is channeling some long, lost talented singer! It's almost as if the voice doesn't come from that person! LOL!

Bo- That was simply awesome! I love that song and he really did it justice. I like his personality too!

Travis- He is just so cute, so maybe he will get by because of that anyway!

Constantine- That was a better performance, but I don't think that he is as good as some of the others. I liked the look on his face when Simon critiqued him! That smile made me like him more!

Anwar- I really liked that song! He put a lot of emotion into it! He seems like areally nice person too!

Didn't get to watch last night. I hope Scott doesn't leave tomorrow night. Isn't he the one whose father told him that he would amount to nothing? If so, than I can see why he would have a chip on his shoulder, as a previous poster stated. I like his voice and, if he is the one with something to prove, I hope that he proves his father wrong. Which he already has just by making it this far into the competition.

Thank you, I was going to write that. That song has been around for a long time.

I like Bo, Anwar, Scott and Nikko.

Constantine is good looking, but his voice just isn't that great and I have to agree with Papa Deuce about his "smarminess."

I love Scott's voice, but he just doesn't have any personality, maybe as a by product of his dad being a jerk.

I do not like Mario at all. I can't pinpoint what it is, but I just don't.

I do think all the guys that are left are much better than the girls. It is a shame that 2 have to go.
