Uh-oh, better quit calling Anwar's hair dreads...someone was offended last week about that and pointed out that they are actually braids or extensions. Thought I would mention that so we don't offend anyone again.

I was glad that Scott and Carrie (aka Farm girl) got through. I was glad the little rapper girl and the crooner got cut. Didn't care for either of them. I am hoping that the Minnie Driver lookalike will get cut tomorrow night. She seriously gets on my nerves, and am I the only one that DOESN'T like her singing? I was sad to see the "bigger" (sorry can't remember her name) girl get cut. I thought it would have been a refreshing change if they had let someone bigger through, but oh well.

the only thing that bothered me tonight was paula..............she is not the actor she thinks she is....................it gets old with the line she gives to the people in the room........the stay or go one.

Boy was I GLAD that that little A'Aisha girl who tries to mimic Michael Jackson got cut. She has an ego that definitely needs some deflating. Her mother has sold her a real bill of goods! I am also glad that blond girl who was so mean to the Asian girl in her group got cut. Her attitude was just ugly, no matter what she sounded like! I thought she should have been cut the other night!

I was THRILLED that Constantine got through, as well as the music teacher with the great braids. I really like the blond guy whose voice reminds me of Clay. The girl who sang Somewhere from Westside Story was fantastic. I knew when she sang as well as the blond guy that the 4th group was going through and the 3rd group was going home.

My picks for the 24... gosh, that is hard, since I don't know all of the names, but I will give it a try:
Braids guy
Blond guy (aka Miracle Boy)
Westside Story mom from NC
Farm Chick
16 year old with sick mom

other guy with long hair
Scott---what a voice--- to look and talk with him you just wouldn't think!

Did anyone else think the chair in the preview looked like a chair one would be tied to if they were getting electrocuted?

LOL! That is what I thought of too! I told Dh they ought to just nickname it "The Chair of Horrors" and be done with it.

For the record, I wasn't offended. I just wanted to make known the differences, since there were a few AA guys there with similiar hair type.

Anwars are extensions/braids, not dreads. Dreads are way different, and if you describe them as dreads, they are totally different, and could be describing another performer.

Not offended, but I just couldn't picture who had the dreads. Once I figured out everyone was talking about Anwar, just wanted to point out it was braids/extensions.

It was a shame that bigger girl (Jennifer?) was cut. That was a shame, I was pulling for her. A'aiisha (or whatever her name is) is too cocky. She is a horrible singer.

I don't like that 16 year old teenager from Vegas.. way way too cocky!

Right now, I'm pulling for Anwar, I love him! I like Carrie (she's so sweet and innocent), Constantine is a cutie, and Vonzell is good as well.

My tivo cut out with 20 minutes to go! Did the Crooner from San Francisco and his group get through? He was the only one that I liked from that group so I'm worried that he didnt.

He was in rent? wow! When I first saw him during the auditions I didn't see what the fuss was about with his looks, but now he is growing on me...he is a real cutie!

Well, I'm thrilled because Anwar made it through another round I just love his voice! I think that he is definitely in the final 12. Last night I told DH that if you look around your room and see Anwar, you know you're safe for another round!! There was no way that he was getting cut.

Also, I'm not a Constantine fan. He is a cute boy and all, but I don't think that he can sing very well! When he first auditioned, we were watching him and laughing. We couldn't figure out how he made it though. The Aerosmith song that he sang was just BAD!

I'm soooo glad that the little Michael Jackson impersonator got cut. What the heck was wrong with her and her mom? She is not a good singer!!

So far, I think that they are making a lot of good choices regarding who stays and who goes. The talent really does seem MUCH better this season.

I'm enjoying these episodes, because I never really watched AI in the past until it was down to the final 12(?).

Did I hear right that all of the contestants had a 3 week break while Simon, Paula & Randy picked the final 24?? Will this be "live" tonight?

Ryan also mentioned that we will see the results "as they happen"??

Looking forward to another AI tonight.

But I am liking Anthony and the farm girl so far. I haven't really heard enough of them to get a really good feel for who I like the best yet.
