Scott has always come off as shifty to me. He doesn't do a thing for me, and his notes are all wrong. He just so "thug-like". (this was before the abuse scandal).

I haven't liked him since the team sing in Hollywood where he left his teammates high and dry.

Thats because he gives off this whole feeling of "I'm abusive" that women can see in him. He scares me too. I'd hate to be a woman involved in a relationship with him. It has nothing to do with the police report either btw. I felt this way the second I saw him. He's one of those people that I would stay far far away from.

Well I completely agree with you. And for those that don't feel it maybe it just means some women are more intuitive than others. That and the fact that his interpersonal skills during the auditions were either deplorable or non-existent.

Scott was convicted of disorderly conduct. How do you know he is an abuser? In the police report, his girlfriend stated that neither she nor the baby was harmed. I was not there, so I will not judge. I do not get vibes that he is an abuser when I watch him on tv. I do not trust the editing on a reality tv show to allow me to make a character analysis nor do I trust the media to give me the entire story.

If I have learned anything in my many years of teaching teenagers, I have learned never to judge a person from what others say or how they look.

You're making him out to be some sort of danger to society, as if he's a murderer. I did read the police report. He lost his temper and did a bad thing. He also was punished for it. And the answer to your question is no. I still don't feel a vibe.

I don't vote for Scott. He needs to go home. With that said, I don't think he's a monster.

Sorry, I don't get that feeling and last time I checked, I was a woman. I don't think that it is right of you to generalize about something like that. It is fine for you to state how you feel, but that is as far as you should go.

Speak for yourself, because even though I'm not a fan of Scott, I don't see what you do. And obviously neither do a lot of other people because he's still in the competition. (although probably not for long). He might lack the looks and personality of a star, but he can sing, and that's more talent than I (and maybe even you) will ever have!

I haven't really commented on the domestic violence issue but even before that came out I said he seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder. That's why I didn't connect with him on a personal level, even though I think he's a decent singer. I know he is proving to his father, and probably a lot of other people, that he deserves to be there. Someone else mentioned during the auditions that he blew off his group and gave them a hard time. I vaguely remember that. Doesn't that seem like a long time ago?

So, I did get a vibe from him but a different one than others here. Although, a vibe's a vibe I guess.

What I like about this thread is that we all see things in a different light. It would be pretty boring if we all liked the same things or even for the same reasons.

Well I would think most assault charges are plead down to something more minor. And it's very common for female victims of abuse to later deny what happened. I agree with you, I wasn't there so I can't judge. The legal system and courts are in place to judge...and he was found guilty.

Maybe we all just have different standards. For me, it's unacceptable, intolerable, unforgivable for any man to throw something heavy at me or my child. End of story.
