Okay, here we go again! Time for this week's critique:

1. Bo-- "Remedy"-- I don't like the hat; I'm glad he didn't wear it during the entire performance. He's not showing his usual energy tonight. Good song choice, but not his best performance vocally (and I usually think he's near the top each week). Still pretty good, though.

uck i can't stand leann rimes either....i was looking through my CDs when I heard that the 1990's were tonight's theme and realize all the stuff i have from that decade is basically indie rock (something tells me no one is going to be singing the breeders or sonic youth tonight) so i'm not looking too forward to the rest of the show....if someone does 'my heart will go on' i will scream. i want a 1980's night!

I never heard this song before (that Jessica's singing) I like her but I don't think it was the best choice

Bo was just okay for me tonight. (I seem to be channeling Randy here. lol)
I thought Jessica did well vocally, but she was boring.

Missed the first 2--what did they sing.

Anwar--I am sad to report that I heard a much better rendition on my honeymoon cruise by a young man who was about maybe 15 or so and sang in a Gospel choir. He was good....but it didn't wow me as the young man on the cruise.

2. Jessica-- Don't know the name of this song-- Pretty good start, but just a little shaky near the end. Overall it was good, but she should have picked a song that would show off the strength of her voice.

3. Anwar-- "I Believe I Can Fly"-- Probably the strongest performance so far tonight, and definitely one of his best. I think he really nailed it, especially the higher notes at the end.

Anwar, Anwar, Anwar... That was terrible. Randy was right on target. Bad song choice for Anwar.

Jessica- kind of boring, nothing like last week.

Bo- Just ok. Heard better.

Hope the rest steps it up.

Can you say 0 for 3 so far? I like Bo, but I just shrugged my shoulders with a "who cares" sentiment at the end of his.

Jessica and Anwar - the two most overrated Idols, in my opinion - didn't do anything to change my opinion on them.

Hopefully, somebody'll be good.

4. Nadia-- "I'm the Only One"-- Not her best performance. I kinda expected a little better with this type of song. She's so strong vocally, and it seems like she's picking it up a bit towards the end. She just doesn't seem at her best tonight.

5. Constantine-- "I Can't Make You Love Me"-- Not the best song choice; he should have picked something a little more up-tempo. He did very well with it, though, and showed some versatility. I think he's the best so far tonight.

Constantine - WOW !! I totally agree with Simon too.. he DID do better than Bo tonite! Way to pull it through you cutie!!
