Official 2025 Universal Studios Orlando HHN 34 Discussion Thread

Read terrifer had to close earlier due to flooding and someone slipping..
No idea of the circumstances involved in this incident. In the litigious society we live in, my initial thot on reading about the ‘wet zone’ was that it might be an accident waiting to happen.

Only half kidding…The way the walkways to the tent houses used to flood out, at times it would cross my mind there might be snakes in those near lakes of dirty water.

I also had a best friend killed by a serial killer in real life, so I am extra jumpy and have a tendency to react by hitting people who scare me before I realize what is happening
I had to read this a couple of times for it to sink in, truly horrific to contemplate.

So sorry for your loss, unthinkable to think that there is RL horror of the sort we visit for entertainment.

Best wishes in enjoying the event in whatever matter works for you!
I'm very wet right now
Ugh, going to guess the rain won’t be keeping many away from tonight’s event. Hope it goes well regardless, have fun.

Just got home..

Quick thoughts... If they keep doing premium night.. DON'T DO IT.. as I thought, complete disaster. Wait times were ridiculous. Lowest wait we had was 25 minutes and that was the Spanish house we did after midnight. Every food booth had crazy long lines (took 20 min at Jason booth)

OK enough of that.. Very early ranking list. May butcher names, it's late I'm tired....

Going again in two weeks so subject to change..didn't do Terrifier or fallout

1) wyatts - if you're not a wwe fan you will not be ranking this very high. Was definitely a love letter to bray. Tons of Easter eggs only fans would get. Had a huge smile on my face the whole time

2) Spanish haunting - good scares cool set

3)gaulkin - love vikings, awesome set

4) graveyard of flesh - most scares I got

5) demon bounty hunters - cool set cool characters, not much scared

6) Friday the 13th - most disappointing house. Was very hyped. Last bit was best part. Hope it improves

7) dolls - just weird.

8) FNAF - super underwhelming. No scares really. Cool amimatronics, but so big you could see them easily so not scary.

I did walk by one wwe werestler so that was cool to see him

Yeah was watching a bit of a live stream and the rain was ridiculous.

Hopefully you get better weather the next time.

I'm guessing the weather sort of affected the entire evening since scare zones were not operational and everyone is wet and miserable and getting the food

The weather was only bad for about 90 min roughly. I think it was done around 830ish. Can't remember... But like even at 130 am waits were still 45 min and food booths still had crazy lines.... They way oversold the event

There's a few reddit threads too with how furious people are

I need to go back and watch last years nightmare fuel show, if felt like a copy and paste of last years with less dancers and less cool stuff. Was a little disappointed with it. Always enjoyed them every year. This is the first time I walked out not that impressed.

Also, scarezones are WAY better than previous years. The cat lady one in central park they went all out

I am sad to see the complaints about Premium Scream. For the amount of money spent, there shouldn't have been so many issues.
I knew it could not be as good as last year - they did not sell many tickets last year.

Still they should have limited the tickets more this year - I get that they don't want to loose money on it - but it also needs to feel like a premium experience.

Ya I think most assumed it wouldn't be like last year. But they completely overswung in the other direction. I read they were selling tickets at the gate even though it was sold out. Sure that didn't help.

If they were truly pulsing the houses then I'd understand the wait times, but it just ended up being a conga line

Having said all this.. I'm still excited to go back in two weeks, so I don't want anyone here who's going to feel like I'm trying to dampen it. The event itself it's an improvement over last year... Pretty much all houses had incredible sets.

Ghost Host, did you do stay and scream last night? I know one of people that I follow on Twitter, did stay and scream and was able to knock out 4 soundstages with low waits.

Still agree for the hefty price, the long wait times aren’t great look from Universal.

No. The other person I was with didn't have park tickets or is an ap

I will be interested in how Stay and Scream/Scream Early work on a normal night. Mostly, what is open, what is closed, how the lines are. I want to ride ET (odd I know, but I have never been to Universal outside of HHN) and maybe do the tribute store before getting in any lines. Then I plan to head away from New York and get the sprung tents over by Simpsons and MIB first. I also have Express. While I would love to do FNAF twice (Scream Early and Express) I don't think I want to deal with getting in line and just standing there for 2 hours.

I'll be interested to read stay and scream reports tonight myself.

I just read that some people have called to complain about last night and they were given free tickets to tonight. So now tonight just got more crowded lol.
