"Official" 2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Last time we did this, our itinerary/plans showed we were attending the party. This time it doesn't. Is this a change to the system for everybody or should I be concerned?

Ours never shows up in our plans for some reason, but they do show up under the Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker tab.

For the Halloween parties, the entire month of October has no discounts.

If it’s any indication, I think the Christmas party will mostly be discounted the first half of Nov and the first half of Dec?

My friend if going during the first half of December. She said no DVC discount for her.

Should be interesting to see how many days are discounted.

I do see them there. In the past, it showed as part of our plans. It is okay, I just wondered if it was an issue or standard now. Looks to be standard.

How much was the AP discount? $10 like last year?

I was able to purchase both Mickey’s Very Merry and Jollywood Party tickets in the same transaction.

Our TA got our tickets for Dec 19th. 3 adults, 1 kid... $965! yikes!

Got my husband and daughter tickets for the 16th. So excited for them!

Thanks to whoever said refresh. I went in to buy and only got Nov. 30 (which is the day I leave!). But after refreshing, I was able to see the calendar and get my ticket. No Annual Pass discount but at this point, what even IS money?

Also, I have found that my hard ticket plans never show up under "My plans". It started with the After Hours I did in May. And now with the Christmas Party. I can see the tickets under "My tickets" but it never shows up in my plans for the day.

Purchased tickets for 11/26, but the app froze when I hit ‘back’ and now I don’t have the purchase and date selection option (closed the app). Now I hit purchase tickets but the calendar is not loading and the app is frozen?

If this happens just go to the website.

I’m seeing this and the bottom (coming soon section) changes to select the number of tickets but the calendar and selection never appears

We have not done a party since 2019. Sounds like their system is different now.

The last party I attended, it was in 2019. Every cookie tasted the same with the exception of the peppermint cookie. IIRC, they only offered that, snickerdoodle, sugar and chocolate chip, which tasted nothing like chocolate chip.

How were the cookies that were included with the 2024 party ticket?

Make sure you're still signed in. Sometimes it loses that login. You will only see it if you are logged in with an account that has resort reservations.

WRISTBAND QUESTION

I know things have changed over the years. I believe those with tickets to the party can enter the park at 4 PM? Or was that changed?

Disney gave us an extra day on our ticket, so we are going to use that to enter the MK around 12 PM and eat appetizers at Tony's. At some point, we will need to hop in a line to get those wristbands. I use my phone, my husband does not do that. He does not want the Disney app on his phone, nor does he want to use it for any kind of access.

What options does he have to "prove" he has a ticket? Will this be visible in a MB? Or perhaps using the MDE through my phone?

IMHO, it is annoying that it shows up under "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker", but not under "My Plans". Somebody here suggested this as a manual workaround:

When logged in from a web browser, go to "My Plans", and then click on "+ Add More Plans" and select "Notes". There you can enter a date and time, select the park & participants, and notes for a reminder about MVMCP.

If he has a MB, they'll scan it and give him a party wristband. Because you have day tickets and will be entering the park early, there will be a few places inside the park to get your party wristband. Yes, those with only a party ticket can enter the park at 4pm.

Has anyone ever purchased party tickets with Undercover Tourist? I got my park tickets through there and the discount was worth it. How much is the discount on party tickets? I'm hearing $10, and it that's it, I'll just get them through Disney.

We have. We did not this year, but we did in year's past because of the return policy. It is usually $10 less per ticket.

I am soo exicted for the parties! Can't wait to see what if any different characters will be meeting, any different outfits, the food. They haven't even announced everything for MNSSP yet though!

Thinking of maybe having an early dinner at one of the Bay Lake Resorts quick service before 4pm, to not waste any party time and just snack at the party. Any recs?
