"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Hey Halloween friends! Just in a celebratory mood today. While I refer to my guy as my husband, we weren't actually married. Until today!!!
We met at 22 and today at 51 we finally decided, eh, you'll do..😂

Got married at the courthouse with my brother and parents there and having big party on Sunday!

Just feeling happy and wanted to share!

So now at the party we won't just aliens, we will be married aliens! 😃 (this trip will be our "honeymoon")

Congrats!!

I just bought our tickets for the September 9 party. That's the last night of our short 5 night trip, and it's really the only night that would work for us. We can't afford a mid-trip sleep in day since we have so few days to work with this time. We will just have to sleep on the plane ride home. :rolleyes1

...and... Congratulations to japanese maple! :flower3:

Should the tickets actually show up in my account? I have the email with the barcode but no tickets. I tried linking them but got an error that they had already been linked, when I hadn’t tried to link them before.

Mine was listed under My Tickets & Passes in MDE but not in Future Plans. It said it had already been linked too even though I didn’t link it.

Mine has never shown up there, 8/29. I tried scanning the barcode yesterday but got that error. I guess I get to call to Disney and have them fix it🙄
Yeah that's exactly it - party tickets, after hours tickets are typically shown under tickets and passes. Weird part was, it *was* there at some point and then it went away. And I saw my friend's MNSSHP ticket she bought for another date, so I knew something was off with mine.

Always a good time. Super thankful the IT wait was short and the fix was quick!

So my husband and I are just being aliens, bought fun, fuzzy alien antenna headbands, plus some glow in the dark bracelets.

He's wearing a T-shirt with an alien head on it, I was just going to wear a black dress. But then I saw this on Poshmark and I bid on it, they accepted and it was quite the deal.

A cats in space dress! 😂 If it's cool out I can wear a short jacket.

DID I MISS THIS?...
I had an airline schedule change this morning, so that got me motivated to gather up all the information and reservations that I have so far and begin putting my spreadsheet together. Anyway, what I am seeing only shows ONE Boo-to-You parade at 8:15 pm! Is this accurate? If so, what a mess this will be! We have always waited for the later one.

Where are you seeing that there is only one parade?

it's just speculation that there is only 1 (I read it as saying that that's the first parade of the night, not the only parade of the night)

I keep waffling on our party day plans. Part of me wants to do a sit down late lunch, but maybe not.

Now I'm thinking we will sleep in a bit, grab breakfast at resort. Then go to Disney Springs for a while, eat lunch (not table service) there, go back to hotel for an iced coffee/relaxing and then head to MK with arrival between 4:30 and 5:00 so we can get some cheeseburger eggrolls or corn dog nuggets to split for a snack before party food!

That seems like a lot of back and forth to me. Maybe plan to go to Wailulu or Steakhouse 71 bar or even one of the monorail QS places for a late lunch around 2, and then head to party.

We want to relax at hotel before we go, not eat and then go straight there, but thanks! Since we aren't going until after 4, plenty of time to shop during day with light lunch.

We just don't want to eat a big meal before we go, so that's why we are moving towards deciding against a sit down this day.
