AS Sports vs. AS Movies . . . would you switch?

We recently added a 3rd night to our upcoming reservation, which resulted in us having to move from AS Music to AS Sports (the only value we could get 3 nights in a row). I just checked and AS Movies (Preferred) is now available for our stay for an additional $116.92. Should we switch? Any advantages to staying at AS Sports other than saving $100? It's just me and my husband (anniversary trip) and we opted to stay in a value this time since its such a short trip and we won't necessarily be at the resort that much. Thanks! :)

We have stayed at all three All-Stars and they are essentially the same. I wouldn't spend more money to switch to a preferred room at Movies unless you plan on spending a lot of time at the resort or hate Sports (like my daughter, haha!) Movies has the most Disney theming for sure. Music has actually become our favorite though!

Odd man out, here 🙋🏻‍♀️ Sports is my least favorite by a long shot. I haven't stayed at ASMo yet but we are staying in a preferred room for one night in December. I don't mind values at all, especially when I'm trying to get in as many trips in as I can. I would opt for ASMo.

I appreciate your response, ktink, and I can't say that I necessarily disagree with you. I've never been a big fan of AS Sports either (although I've only stayed there once). But when I think about the fact that on the inside, the guest rooms in all the values look the same (at least I think I'm correct on that point), and we are only there for a short time and won't be spending much time at the resort, I guess its just as well we stay where we are and use that money on something else. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some other advantage to moving lol. :)
