It'd be so much better if it was sometihng like teddy grahams instead of bugles
There is a portal in the Simpsons area now by those gates near the quickie mart - and only one portal by MIB - where there used to be two so IDK. Just seems like having it with the food (and bar) makes way more sense.I don't know if it's that or where the house entrances are? Didn't Simpsons usually release into the ones that you entered where dreamworks land now is?
interesting Transformers isnt open nowSome additional entertainment

yes, go right walk through hollywood and central park to get to the back. With maps I can now try and figure out a plan of attack. At least for the first few things. Our top 2 houses on our list are Universal Monsters and The Museum. So it looks like we will want to go to the right once we get into the park. Is that correct? I have never been in Universal so I am totally going by the map. Then likely hit Slaughter Sinema because it is back there as well instead of having to back track later. Then likely a break of some sort before going for the rest of things.
I hate not being sure of a plan! With Disney I have no problem, but Universal is a brand new beast for me.
I will also be watching this thread like a hawk over the next couple of weeks. Our HHN isn't until the 15th so hopefully I can steal some good hints and tips.
Usually 5pm I think. It's sometimes not open on non-HHN nights though.Does anyone know when the Dead Coconut bar opens? We are headed over next Thursday and was thinking we would start with a drink there and then go into HHN about 6-6:30.
Plus, there’s the occasional private party that has the top section of Citywalk blocked off.Usually 5pm I think. It's sometimes not open on non-HHN nights though.

Looking at the S&S areas on a map isn’t always helpful. You need to see their entrances.I want to see the exit areas for the houses on the map too. I know where many of the previous years have been but it seems different this year. Also the stay and scream areas on the map too
Exactly..Looking at the S&S areas on a map isn’t always helpful. You need to see their entrances.
Depends how soon they turn the roomWe're checking in on our HHN day, will do parks for a while, then HOPE the room is ready, at RP early enough to unpack, refresh for just a bit, and make sure we're back inside Universal before 5:00. Must be through tapstiles, in park by 5, park closure.
110%I do hope the bars will be real bars and not just vats of premade drinks.
Lots of bitters and syrups - hopefully not too overused again.
Thank you for pulling the info & posting. Will update stickie when back from travelThis is by far only a sampling of the foods that are going to be on offer for HHN.
I think it is 4 or 5. We went on a Thursday last year and it was not busy. Was easy to get a drink and wander around looking at all the fun Monster decorations.Does anyone know when the Dead Coconut bar opens? We are headed over next Thursday and was thinking we would start with a drink there and then go into HHN about 6-6:30.
