"Official" 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

We have to go to the first party. Just so happens we booked an early August trip and I was surprised parties start then. I assume JC will be open during our party but not going to ride then as it is kind of a time suck. I was planning to ride the Jingle Cruise during our December trip Christmas party since we only did that once many years ago. But I am glad they are doing some more maintenance on rides.

I was just looking for this info, thank you for posting this! It felt like they were releasing stuff late this year, but I guess not.

I totally understand what you mean -- the timelines are technically consistent with what they were last year for major announcements, but for some reason, everything still feels late :confused3

For some reason I thought Mickey and Minnie met together during the party. But Mickey is in Town Hall and Minnie in Storybook Circus?

Has anyone that had both day access and tickets to the party had any experience with entering the parks in the half hour before 4 PM? We are passholders (out of state). Our 3 year old NEEDS a nap before the party to make it through the evening (pleasantly). Most likely he will be sleeping until right about 3:30 and we will walk over from Contemporary. I'm trying to figure out what it might be like trying to enter at that time - hoping to squeeze in before the party only guests, but I remember it being a zoo last time (but we showed up after 4), so wasn't sure what the lines look like when you are just trying to get back in on a regular non-party ticket. Or would it make sense for us to just wait in the MNSSHP line at that point so we can just get in and get our wristbands all at once?

I would just eyeball it when you get there. In my experience those lines move quickly, but if it looks too crazy, just go in through one of the normal admission lines and pick up your party band later.

I’m also an AP holder who did a similar thing last year for an October party and, while the line was longish, it moved very quickly and efficiently. We didn’t spend more than 10 minutes or so from getting into line to getting our party band on.

Welp. I wasn’t gonna do it. I wasn’t gonna do the Halloween party again this year… Since I’m posting that on this thread y’all already know how that turned out. Early Sept MNSSHP fun here I come!

I blame Amazon though. Prime members can get 20% off some Viator activities which just happened to include some dates for MNSSHP & MVMCP tickets and worked out to about 14% off what Disney was charging at the AP rate my night (no, discount doesn’t work on normal park tickets before anyone gets too excited).

[YMMV- How-to in case anyone else is considering giving into temptation: search Viator on Amazon, click banner about Viator which takes you to travel deals, click Viator offer on the travel deals, search for the party name, select date, go to cart to see discount, compare to WDW to make sure it’s a good price. I had no issues but others on the gc thread are so I’m calling it YMMV.]

Damn I wish I would have known about this about 20 hours ago when I pulled the trigger on MNSSHP for Sept 6th. 😭

This is brilliant! Just got 20% off our tickets. Honestly, I don't think you even need to be a Prime member. Just use the discount code of "PRIMEDAYDEALS" at checkout.
