There hasn’t been a VQ attraction at a park with a party but it’s anticipated to work similar to AH events and there will most likely be a 6PM drop that only party guests are eligible to try for.Does anyone know how it will work for getting a virtual queue spot for Iron during the MNSSHP? How has it worked for this type of event in the past? Is there an opening window at 4pm or 7pm? Confused how it will work for the party.
That makes a lot of sense, thanks. I hope I can snag a spot when it does happen. There hasn’t been a VQ attraction at a park with a party but it’s anticipated to work similar to AH events and there will most likely be a 6PM drop that only party guests are eligible to try for.
Yes, they include the dates the parties sold out. Many parties sell out so not sure if there are many lower crowd parties. In the posts on page 1 of this thread there are links to earlier years’ parties (or can be searched) and those threads show sell out dates. Not sure if they include the date when they sold out.
You’re making a good choice going to MK on a party day as historically crowds are lower on party days, until 4pm.
Just purchased our tickets for October 10th!!! First time for us attending the party. I see the tickets in my app under tickets and passes with everyone’s names on their tickets. Do I need to do anything else or are they auto synced to everyone’s magic bands or do I bring up the app with the barcode to scan in at the party?
We have tickets for Oct 1st. We are not doing a park that day but may go to Disney Springs. Could we leave our vehicle in Disney Springs and travel to Magic Kingdom another way? I'm just not sure how late we can leave our car at Disney Springs since we may not be getting back to it until midnight.
Also what are some free transportation options from DS to MK? I hear taking a bus to the Contemporary is the best way.
I would recommend taking your car to the TTC. Leaving it at DS is not convenient. You need to take a bus to a resort then a second bus/walk to the MK.We have tickets for Oct 1st. as a surprise from my hubby, we are going to disney this september for 4 days!! never gone during halloween, not sure if we are doing the party this year since we are going for halloween next year as well. our first day in florida this year is a party day and is also labor day, is the party typically less crowded that day since so many people are leaving for the start of school? also what would happen if it rains so bad it gets canceled? would they let us carry over the tickets to next year since the next party is the day we leave?
We are going during September as well, but the following week after your trip. We did MNSSHP last year and enjoyed it a lot! We did not have annual passes, like we will this year, and we arrived at the park as soon as you could. We focused on the rides early, planning on doing the later shows and parade. It worked out very well. We didn't plan on doing any character meet and greets, just not our style, but seeing everyone dressed up in costumes we might be rethinking for one or two characters for this year.as a surprise from my hubby, we are going to disney this september for 4 days!! never gone during halloween, not sure if we are doing the party this year since we are going for halloween next year as well. our first day in florida this year is a party day and is also labor day, is the party typically less crowded that day since so many people are leaving for the start of school? also what would happen if it rains so bad it gets canceled? would they let us carry over the tickets to next year since the next party is the day we leave?
awesome thank you very much!!All dates sell out, so crowds will be the same. We visited at that time last year and did the party and it wasn't bad.
The party will not get canceled due to rain. The only reason it would is if it was something major like a hurricane. But if you chose not to go, they do let you carry the value over to a future event. You'll have to call to apply that credit when purchasing new tickets.
yeah i keep adding things to a pros and cons list to convince my hubby we should do it and there are more pros than cons lol. he's for sure thinking about it especially since its not as expensive as he thought it would be. we unfortunately wouldn't be doing MK during the day as its a blackout date for our APs. only character meet and greet i would want to do is of course the one that probably has the longest wait time and thats Jack and Sally. We are going during September as well, but the following week after your trip. One thing I wanted to say thinking about skipping it this year because your doing it next year, I would not recommend that! MNSSHP was one of the most fun evenings I've had in Disney, the stage show is great, the parade is awesome, and fireworks are probably the best I've ever seen. I get its expensive, but IMO it is worth it!
awesome thank you very much!!

100% agree. we get into orlando around 8:30am so we'll either go to the hotel pool if they'll let us before our room is available, or we'll go hang out at disney springsI actually prefer not having a park ticket for the day because I'd rather relax early in the day so I can stay out later for the party. Plus I'm not a fan of paying for the same park twice in one day.
That was true last year, but it might not necessarily be true this year. All dates sell out, so crowds will be the same. We visited at that time last year and did the party and it wasn't bad.

Hi everyone! I purchased 2 DVC discounted MNSSHP tickets. If we had to cancel our trip, could I transfer the party tickets on MDE to our 2 children who live there. They are on our MDE but not DVC owners. They would be using Magic Bands to enter the Party. I just wouldn't want them to have any issues because of the discount. Thank you!
