Official 2021 Disney Very Merriest After Hours Thread

Totally going to pay $179/each for DH and me to go on Nov 12th...and we have Epcot the next day so we can sleep in a little!

We've never been to an After Hours Party or any other kind of paid Extra Evening event so I'm super stoked!!

I'll just make sure to NOT tell him how much the tickets were! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I was preparing myself to pay $169 or even $189 to go the Sunday before Thanksgiving - so, of course, Disney pushed the limits and made Thanksgiving week $229. There are 5 of us. This is nuts.

We have 8 people. I guess Disney saw the demand for the Halloween AH and realized they underpriced! Our dates range from $169-$229. I am in the middle of purchasing a DVC and it should be done by our trip, so now I'm wondering if I should wait to purchase for the extra $80 discount or if they will sell out. Decisions...

Just ended a chat through the app...I was told that for the 17th the pre-purchase would only be available over the phone. (Guess I know what I am doing that morning!)
I was just told, through the app, that they will be available online as well so who knows what the truth is
I was just told about an hour ago on two separate chats that they did not know yet if early purchases would have to be done by phone or could be done online. I am on hold with AP line (should have called ticket/events number shown in blog) to try to find out....or just add to the confusion!

What time do we need to begin the calling process? Do we call the regular Disney number? I wish we could just do it online….I have had so many calls dropped after being on hold for well over an hour……

Does anyone remember how much the tickets were in 2019?
Per DIS past info site for 2019 - Party ticket prices range from $99 to $139 plus tax per adult depending on the date you choose to attend

Additional item to reference with Disney in 2021
"Tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable and may not be resold. The number of tickets available is limited. Tickets are valid only during specific event dates and hours. Prices, entertainment, attractions, experiences, ticket types, entitlements and other event elements subject to availability, closures and change or cancellation without notice or liability. No refunds even if entertainment is cancelled. Tickets are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change."

So if you need to change your dates or cancel your trip you will eat the price of the tickets
If you do purchase these tickets, Disney makes you the following commitments
- no guarantees and their not responsible for anything if they choose to drop any or all offerings or content defining this event which you used to make your decision to purchase;
- make you eat the cost of the ticket under all circumstances;
- prices could have potential to change without notice;
- you are buying tickets with the understanding the customer gets what we feel like giving you without notice;
- you should think this is a great event to attend, even though Disney makes no commitment to the customer/guest and make you eat the full cost of the event if they elect to cancel the event without notice.
This is usually not a 'deal' you would want to engage in as the purchase is written to favor Disney 100% and leave you with potentially nothing.
Is this the same legal jargon when Disney celebrated MVMCP?

Regular customer service line opens at 7am, but who knows when they will actually open lines for sales.

got an email!

I wonder if I will have to do mine through DVC, since our stay is booked through DVC. I haven't gotten an email, but DVC will probably never send one. I hope I don't have to wait until their lines open, because they don't open until 9am. We plan to go Thanksgiving week. Ugh!

Just got my email for resort guest to purchase tix - unfortunately our last day is the 8th ☹️ We were there opening nite 2019 and it poured. We had a great time but definitely got soaked. If you can do it once it’s really worth it. Idk if I would do it again this year even if we extended our stay… maybe next year. So glad the parade is back for those going!

Just remembered that they usually have late hours for all on Thanksgiving week. In 2019, MK was open until 11 or 12pm that whole week except for the Sunday before, when they closed early for a party.

Now they'll be closing at 9pm on Sunday and Tuesday, at the very least. Possibly also on Wednesday for Deluxe evening hours. Not getting a lot in return for some of the highest ticket prices of the year.

Can you screen shot the email?? I haven’t gotten one yet 😭😭😭

We will be there Dec 14th if it doesn’t sell out (we are offsite so will miss out on the early booking window).
