Official 2021 "Disney After Hours Boo Bash" Thread

What does that mean? They were given fastpasses? Or they were allowed to use the fastpass line for every attraction? Because if it's the latter then holy moly the value of this thing goes way up.

The way I read it, the people with Boo Bash wrist bands were allowed to use the rides fast pass entrances from 7pm to 930pm. I’m hoping to see some posts/vlogs today that will confirm.

I may be imagining this but was there a point where they implied the horsemen would be there? For some reason I was thinking he was supposed to be too, but no mention of it anywhere I can find. And agree they could and should have done much better. This seems like exactly what they had last year for free during the day, with trick or treating added.
I think that was what they were going for, though, right? Same experience as a normal day guest during Halloween, but with no crowds. I feel for the people who loved the parties and can't go this year, but I don't think this was really meant for them. We have less than zero interest in going to a party (if someone gifted us tickets we still wouldn't go) because we hate crowds (which is why we bought Boo Bash tickets).

That is true. The low crowds and wait times is a big part of it. But last September we also had that during the day with low capacity. Same character sightings, same calvacades then, and the Cadaver Dan's even came out last year too. I know the low waits are a big part of this event and it isn't supposed to be a party, but even just a couple more special things could have been added to the event to make it just a little bit cooler and exciting. Maybe some more character sightings, definitely more exclusive food and merch. Same things they did, just more.

They said more is coming for BOO Bash... Oct 1st lol. Some kind of special enhancement?

Did anyone see Maleficent dragon :goodvibes

I didn’t see exactly what the candy was, only saw the post about the allergy friendly ones. Anyone?

Waiting to hear more reviews! So far I'm encouraged that crowds seemed more like After Hours vs MNSSHP , at the price you'd hope so.

I watched one of the live streams last night. Attending past Halloween parties at WDW I was really disappointed with what I saw. Long lines for "free popcorn, soda, and a mickey bar", no horeseman, no gravediggers, I heard some of the wait times for rides were longer than expected.

In addition, I was told they were selling same night tickets to last nights party. That is wrong on so many levels and is a disservice to anyone who waited on the phone or online to purchase them in advance. What happened to a "limited ticket event"?

Not too mention some of the special snacks they were "selling" last night folks thought they would be included with your ticket based on the early promotions for the event...

I don’t really think it’s fair to compare this to last year. Last September they were trying to give people a reason to go to the parks. Travel wasn’t back at the level it is now. Disney never had any halloween characters, parades or cadaver dans during regular park hours before last fall. Disney had no parties or after hours events last fall & were trying to give guests a little extra magic for coming. Compare this to 2019, not 2020.
