Official 2021 "Disney After Hours Boo Bash" Thread

What are “select beverages” and ice cream novelties from the carts?

Specifically, is it just the Dasani water? or Cokes, too?

Mickey Bars and sandwiches?

or if you want to ride BTM 10 times in a row,
From the stream I watched last night, rides like BTM were not walk-ons. I saw Peter Pan with a wait time of 35 minutes. BTMRR ranged from 10-20 minutes. So you would not be able to ride BTM 10 times in a row. The crowds seemed higher then a normal DAH event.

I just read that guests wearing Boo Bash wrist bands were given fast pass ‘privileges’ from 7pm to 930pm - can anyone that was there last night confirm this?

we didn’t use FP but we didn’t know to ask either. My boys waited over 40 min for space around 730. Daughter and I were in mine train line at 745. It was a 38 minute wait

isn't it difficult to judge the first night's crowds when probably lots of bloggers, vloggers, media, etc. etc. review the evening?
also, in the past the crowds were absorbed with fireworks and parades and the forever character meet and greet lines. without those three, if it's the same number of people allowed in for the event (which i doubt) compared to mnsshp approx. then where do those people go? So it would have to be less people in this event i would assume?....

I don't know why people thought this would be similar to a normal AH event. It's not, people are looking at this as a MNSSHP replacement and given everything we have seen from Disney in terms of recouping lost revenue they will be more than happy to sell more than the usual number of AH tickets.

Because it's specifically called "Disney After Hours Boo Bash " and that's exactly what they are marketing it as? No one should be looking at this as comparable to MNSSHP - they are totally different events. In fact it seems from reports that those who were comparting it to MNSSHP were the ones disappointed.

We were only offered the FP line at Splash around 9:05pm. The regular line still had day guests and they put the Boo Bash folks in the FP line. However they completely stopped the FP line to get all the day guests on the ride and out, but it still went relatively fast.

It was DEFINITELY less people than MNSSHP. But- it was more people than I was expecting. And Peter Pan and Mine Train had a largish wait for most of the night. The photo pass lines were also very long.

What does that mean? They were given fastpasses? Or they were allowed to use the fastpass line for every attraction? Because if it's the latter then holy moly the value of this thing goes way up.

Can you tell me what time they actually started letting people in the park- was it at 7pm exactly or is it a little earlier? How bad were the lines when you got there to check in and get your wristband? Also how bad were crowds upon leaving for the nighi?

My family of 6 rode (some of these smaller ones were things we had trouble getting to on our regular park day and my kids wanted to do):

Tomorrowland Speedway (15 min wait at 7pm)
it's a small world (5 min wait)
Pirates (walk on)
Big Thunder x2 (walk on)
Splash (10 mins as they were loading remaining day guests, we were sent in the FP line)
Haunted Mansion (5mins)
Dumbo (walk on)
Barnstormer x2 (walk on and didn't have to leave the seat to go twice)
Pooh (walk on)
Teacups (walk on)
Space (walk on)
2 Cavalcades
Peter Pan (10 minute wait, posted 20)
Mine Train (13 minute wait, posted 20)
Jungle Cruise (walk on)

We arrived around 6:50 and were instantly let in and got wristbands. We definitely weren't the first people there. I was worried we weren't going to be allowed in until 7:30 since the party didn't start until 9:30 so I didn't want to get there tooo early.

Amazing!!! I'm going to share this on another thread!

Was the headless horseman there? Watched some of the livestream, but not all of it. Event seemed a little lame to me, I think they could have done much better.

I didn’t see headless horseman. Got magic photo with headless horseman by HOP. Saw Gaston on a horse during the daytime cavalcade

Photopass

by HOP - headless horseman
By Walt statue - castle in the background standard shot and magic shot with a book of spells
By flag- standard pumpkins photo. There is a magic shot, but it hasn’t shown up in my account yet

I didn’t do the one By castle wall or the one at the end of Main Street by hub. Didn’t see any others

did get a lovely photo in the dark by Ariel ride right before park closing.

magic photo at pumpkins near flag was also a book of spells

I’m bummed because the dragon was coming down the street during the photos but you can’t see it. I was hopping it would show up in background

I may be imagining this but was there a point where they implied the horsemen would be there? For some reason I was thinking he was supposed to be too, but no mention of it anywhere I can find. And agree they could and should have done much better. This seems like exactly what they had last year for free during the day, with trick or treating added.
