I'll also be at the first party. I feel bad for the poster who wants two tickets for himself and his wife. I stated upthread that I don't want to go. I've got 4 tickets to the first party. Also, I'm military and if SoG is selling them, I can get them also. I hear mixed reviews if SoG still has them or not. I thought someone said they did because they buy an allotment of them so SoG may not be sold out. Not sure if that's true and I don't have the time today to sit on the phone with them (I'm leaving tomorrow). Let me know if I can help out in any way!

What? No Dove chocolates? We ended up with so many of those in 2017, I kept finding them in nooks and crannies for weeks afterward. And it was a nice change from cookies. 🤷🏼‍♀️

If you’ll be at the party , you could buy him one at the MK ticket window that day. SoG doesn’t sell tickets to sold out parties.

I was going to try to meet him but I’m at Universal and I’m not attending the 11/8 party (I am not sure if I can buy tickets for him if the military member wasn’t attending the party as well, and wasn’t planning on being at MK until 11/11, so unfortunately I can’t go ask), so you’d be a safer option for him.

@MGregorio594, I can still be a backup option if for whatever reason this doesn’t work out :)

Yes, I'll be attending the party. It's interesting about the Christmas Party tickets. I don't know if they have the same restrictions as the Military Salute tickets. I ordered both my military salutes and MVMCP tickets through SoG and did the MVMCP tickets first. I didn't have to use my husband's (the military member) ID card and could use my own DoD employee card. The tickets weren't deeply discounted like a Military Salute ticket and seemed to be just the regular government employee type ticket. I've bought those for my adult children before when the went to Disney without me and I never had to be there with them.

According to Blog Mickey the Halloween Ultimate Party Pass news was released on Aug 16, 2019 which was the first night for the party. I wonder if Disney plans to do the same for MVMCP by releasing news on Nov 8th. I plan on waiting to buy our tickets.

Hi Christine! So would you be willing to meet on the 8th at the gates of MK? Also, thanks a lot @MilitaryMouse!

Going to try and get 10 posts in the next couple minutes so I can PM lol.

Yes, I could do that. I just am not sure of my specific time yet. I'm having a late lunch at Disney Springs that day (Morimoto Asia) and I'm not sure how long that will take. I had sort of planned on an approximately 4:00 PM entry.

So I didn't pay much attention: are we sure that they will be selling military discounted MVMCP on a sold out party?

Just got bumped down from Terrace Dessert Party to Plaza Garden viewing for my Dec 3rd date. Something apparently was wrong with the system showing Terrace as available.

Honestly, Plaza Garden was my preferred anyway (closer to the castle to see the projections) and I'm getting a refund plus a disney gift card. So they're at least rectifying the issue. But I wish it hadn't been one in the first place. Oh well, w/e. I got the actual reservation I wanted and a little more on top.

My concern now is will my original confirmation still be good? Or should I request a new confirmation?

[edit]Disney rep said my current reservation is good enough but I feel like I should trust them as far as I could throw Cinderella castle when it comes to this XD

I would request a new confirmation. I got caught in the MNSSHP dessert party parade viewing website description snafu last year and the rep said it was resolved, but when we checked into the party, it hadn't been. It all worked out in the end, but it's never fun to have to "speak with a manager" when you are trying to check into what is supposed to be a fun night.

Thanks. I just checked MDE at it does give a new confirmation for Plaza Garden. I would prefer to have a secondary hard copy though.

I'm sorry to see people got bumped from their Terrace party reservations. I know there are times when it is necessary that people actually gets a seat. I am glad to see that they finally released the plaza tickets. I keep going back and forth on if we really need them.

Yes, who can confirm they will be able to sell these tickets?

I have reached 10 posts and still do not have the capability to PM someone. Can an admin assist me with this so i can take this conversation with Christine off this thread?

I haven’t done it this year but I’ve bought tickets to sold out Halloween and Christmas events many times in past years. It’s never been a problem. Only twice have we gotten CMs who didn’t know this policy but we just nicely asked for a lead/supervisor. Haven’t tried this year though.

I just pm'ed you. So you should be good to go

Question: We are going to the party on 11/8. We also have park hopper tickets we plan to begin using on the 9th. Should I wait to add my magic band to MDE until after we enter the party? Or is there another way to make sure the holiday ticket is used and not the park hopper ticket since we plan to enter around 4:00 on the party day.
Thanks!!!

There are dedicated party events only tapstiles on the right side, if you enter through one of those it will ensure that the scan will only take the party ticket and not your hopper

Thank you for the quick reply. So, if I have both the party tickets and the hoppers in the MDE account, as long as we tap the special party event only turnstile, nothing will go wrong?
Thanks!!

I was just looking at tickets to the event and saw this list as the only attractions being open. Can anyone confirm or deny this list being accurate?Screenshot_20191101-210451_Samsung Internet.jpg
