Ok again I let a TA do my leg work and lost. Using one from the DIS board sponsored agency and she tells me I have to have 5 nights so she couldn't get anything for me. What? I chatted on the WDW website and minimum stay is only THREE nights. It's too late to fix now and I will keep trying myself but. Why don't I ever learn?!?!?

That is unacceptable. The agents should at least know how many days are needed at a minimum. I would voice your unhappiness with your agent and the higher ups at the agency.

So, I'm feeling a bit of post-free-dining chaos depression! I guess it was a bit of a let-down that POR didn't have FD at anything other than Royal Rooms. I'll keep checking though.

But, I really shouldn't be feeling this! I was able to get a room-only at POFQ for 20% off in a standard room. I wouldn't be surprised if when the AP discounts come out that can be increased to 25%. Even adding in a full-price dining plan, it would be cheaper to do that than a Free Dining deal at the room I originally had booked at POR. We can also consider not getting the dining plan, which could save money-need to do the calcs on that one, but we have time.

Weird question. I was finally able to modify my original reservation. Before I did that, I booked another one to be sure to get the dining deal. Now I have two. My sister is trying to book a dining deal, except she is coming down with her family a few days after us. Is there a way to modify that deal and transfer it over to her? I would have to take three days off the start of the trip, but it would still qualify for free dining.

Same dates here, we got Sports because Pop had no rooms. Our TA was able to transfer it to Music later but I didn't find availability there when I looked.

That's when we are staying - December 15th - 22nd. I was trying to get for Pop and was on the minute it went live, but it already said "no availability" for any rooms. I think that's super weird! I'm going to keep my eye out for Pop though. I'm not giving up on it being available at some point.....maybe?!

Got through to Technical Support and they were unable to resolve my issue over the phone so they have created a ticket and will send me an email when they have some news for me. Interestingly enough, they did a mock reservation and were able to select all four guests with no problem . . .

I tried adding FD at 6am to my POR reservation. It worked until I went to purchase and then I kept getting an error. After trying for a while I gave up and went with an offer from a TA deal that we keep hearing about. I added DDP to the package it was still cheaper than going with FD. It was still a lot more than I thought i was going to have to pay, so i am disappointed in FD this year. However, i am so excited to have our trip officially underway! Can't wait!

I have a TA offer cheaper with dining too by 600 but I got FD offer for a suite so Now I am weighing that. I have both booked so I have time.

I *think* if you book "free" dining with the 2-day park hoppers, you'll be able to upgrade them to 4-day base tickets for $97 more per ticket as long as you don't use the PH feature. FD with a 2-day PH is $1565, add $291 for ticket upgrades and you get $1856. That's a difference of $147 for FD over your $1709 RO discount. Could you feed your family of 3 for 6 days for $147 even sharing meals and drinking water? I don't think so!

Am I understanding correctly that you're saying its possible to get a 2-day PH ticket and then add on extra days that are not Hopper days? And this costs less than the $75 to make the entire ticket PH? Or maybe I totally misread that, if so sorry!

Ok, so I was up at 5:45 CT. Got on the computer, and when i got to the reservation page, it was just a spinning wheel where change reservation normally is. No problem, I'll just call. Got some message that they were expericening technical difficulties, waited it out, then got a message that it would be a 15 min wait from there. Finally got though about 30 min later. (was talking to CM at 6:45 CT).
I had 2 studios booked at Boulder Ridge for 11/26-12/2. NO FD availability. This really surprised me. It was so early.
So.... I ended up making another reservation, at Boardwalk, 11/27-12/3. (2 rooms) and got FD. I'm currently holding on to both reservations, and hoping that the Boulder Ridge rooms will get a discount coming up. Anyone know when that should happen? Thanks in advance!

ENCOURAGEMENT TIME!

Everyone- if you didn't get what you want, just keep trying! I originally had to upgrade our room to a king from a standard at CBR (not a huge deal, but it cost about $100 more each plus it would be nice for my friend and I to have our own bed). I've been checking back every so often and just was able to book a standard room! And saw that they also had pool views open as well! If you're looking for CBR around Labor Day weekend then check back!

Even now, when I try to just book a regular package with no discount I get "At least two or more attending guests have the same name. Guests must have unique names." I can't believe only one other person had this issue . . . I'm beginning to take it as an omen. It looks like if I'm going to book anything at all I'm going to have to call and get the issue with my F&F list resolved.

I had this issue before with my husband. I added a new entry with the same name, and I was able to choose him for my party. Happened in 2015, and the duplicate it still there. Weird bug.

Hopper is one cost good for your entire stay unless that has changed from years past. 2 days 7 days--same cost. Someone correct me?

Thanks, that makes sense. I'm thinking I misunderstood @robinb ... upon further reflection I think they were saying a 2-day PH can be upgraded to just a 4-day base ticket and still qualify for FD. Anyone have insight into this?

Rooms just opened up for CBR. They were unavailable all day. They are now open for Standard FD 8/25-9/2
