Maybe a change of topic is in order! I have a question for those of you who do not have set dates. Will you book FD and then go look for airfare that day, or possibly even wait? What if the flights are that much more expensive that it offsets any value you are getting from the FD? Would the alternative be to check flights the morning FD drops before pushing the FD button so to speak? I keep playing with possible dates for
free dining and some of the airfare is outrageous. I think I am leaning toward checking flights first as opposed to booking as fast as I can. Now that I think of it I guess this mostly applies to those traveling August/September, as I know most of November and December isn't released yet (I'm referring specifically to southwest).
