So, here it is another Monday morning and nothing! :offtopic:When I got home yesterday I posted that I saw Beauty and the Beast, and didn't hear back from anyone, as to whether you all have seen it? I loved it, was totally captivated by it, and it put me right in Disney, wishing I had booked BOG for a meal. Has anyone in here seen it? Opinions?
Love love loved beauty and the beast. My DS10 was laughing at me because I sat there with this silly grin on my face the entire time. I want to go to the song along that is in the theaters right now :)

The boys didn't want to see it but my DD6 and I went to see it and loved it! We saw the 3D version of it and my DD was so cute! She did the same thing she did at Mickeys Philharmagic last year. She sat at the edge of her seat and reached out her little hands and kept trying to touch everything that was 3D. She also sang "Tale as Old as time" really loudly and it was so sweet!

The Canadian Federal Government lists Easter Monday as a Federal holiday but I know it is not always the case with some provincial and territorial governments. I know it's really not clear and kind of confusing!:) We are also in Ontario and the schools are closed here on Monday. I do not know if Colleges are closed here monday as my kids are too young for that and I am too old to remember when I went!:teeth:
Banks aren't closed but most people think they are so its kind of like having a holiday. :thumbsup2

I kind of don't even care if my dates are included or not st this point. I just want them released so I can figure out which discount to use!!
Yep. I am pretty inflexible about things unfortunately. I need a standard or garden view room at a mod (not going above that) and my dates are set. Also I am pretty sure I don't want CBR. So that limits me a great deal. So then that leaves me renting points or offsite. There are pro's and cons to each.

I'm reallly waffling.. Anyone want to hear why? I mean we're just sitting here waiting anyway:rotfl:

I am working REALLY hard on Weight Watchers and working out to lose weight. I had 50 pounds to lose:sad2: and I am down 15!!! I'll be down 25 or 30 by our trip at this rate. To that end, Free Dining is just a bad idea. It's too much food, and I will have to fight to make decent choices at every single restaurant. I have to do that in everyday life but I do anticipate that being difficult going to two restaurants a day.

It's not a matter of just going on vacation and worrying about it when I get back. I have to make a lifestyle change and I just don't want to reintroduce high fat/sugar food. So that has me worried. But we missed being onsite and dining in all of the restaurants and I know the rest of my family would enjoy it. So if I can get the promo in the room I want, it's a big money saver and I would muddle through and pre plan and do my best.

Our budget is pretty set in stone, but I could go with a room offer, or rent a DVC studio, keep my foods in the room, and pay OOP .So then I could stay somewhere like the Beach Club and have access to the gym. Or rent points at OKW and have the kitchenette.

Then there is Bonnet Creek where I would have a full kitchen and that gives me full control over what I eat. I can eat well and we could still go out one meal a day and save quite a bit.

So this very long winded post is to say they need to release this promo so I can narrow down my choices before things sell out (like renting points or getting my week at Bonnet Creek). Ideally I want onsite with a full kitchen but that is astronomically out of the budget.

I loved it! Before I saw it I thought the casting for Gaston was bad, but now I think Luke Evans was perfect. I am IN LOVE with the village and Belle's house! I don't want to include any spoilers, so I will just say that I loved it! ❤️

I have seen it twice and I loved it. I'm not too sure about the new song additions but otherwise I thought it was fabulous.
Yeah, I wasn't sure if they added anything or not, but it didn't matter, I loved it too!

I can totally relate to your struggle. I lost all my weight last year and put back on most of it, as is typical for me. Vacations are the hardest...and FD is just so incredibly bad for the dieter. Still, just because it's free doesn't mean you have to overindulge, it just makes it so much harder. I have no good answers. Being hungry all the time is simply part of my life. Sorry for the "boo hoo's"....it's just so hard.

DD23 and I pretended the one we saw was a sing along (theater was pretty empty and we got a couple of other girls to pretend with us toward the end), but yes I look forward to going to the sing along as well. Then I can really belt it out. :yay:

I thought it was ok. I have never seen the original so I had nothing to compare it too. I am also a middle age man. But both of my daughters loved it.
You can still be a romantic even if you are a middle aged man....LOL!

DH sucked it up and took me for my birthday last month. I LOVED it! I was obsessed with the animated version when I was younger and loved that a lot of it was word for word the same. I know a lot of people have not been fans, but I thought it was beautifully done and the casting, for me, was spot on. I think it was well done and will be seeing it again...for me, that HUGE! In my adult years, I am not known for rewatching movies. :)

There was a lot of talk about it when it cam out. Probably most who were going to see had already. I have not. I'll wait to rent it and out that$100 towards Disney.

I was thinking Disney couldn't get me to love the beast...no matter what they did. In the cartoon version he was just so loveable. But...I was wrong....by the middle I adored him!

I clapped at the end, I was the only one in the theater to do that!

It's just odd for me. I've never heard this. I've heard of Good Friday being off for some people. But Easter is always on a Sunday. What is the day after? Pick up rotten eggs day? I used to work for a small company where the owner was catholic and he would give us all kinds of days off Ash Wednesday Good Friday all Kinds of days I had too look up what it was but not the day after Easter. Lol. No offense to anyone. It's like when you hear anew word that you've never h and before and then everyone is saying it and you're like I'm 41 years old how did I not know this???

Definitely can relate to this! I'm going to buy the DVD when it comes out, definitely a keeper. And talk about putting you in the Disney Spirit! The scenes were beautiful...I want to go live in the castle!

Saw it, Loved it! Would like to see it again. Exceeded my expectations! I have a lunch at BOG. Last year we had it on day one and I think we rushed to get out to the park
