If FD is dropping on Monday (hopefully!) we should start hearing rumors tomorrow! I hope so, I can't take this wait much longer. I already have a wait of 230 days til my trip, I hate waiting for 2 things I'm excited for! I feel like once FD drops, I can pay down my trip, pick ADRs and finalize everything...everything is in limbo until I figure out whether we'll have FD or not. We're going either way, but it will change everything. Then, after FD I have to wait for my ADR date...

So I just checked my change button to see if it works. I've not wanted to click on it for fear that it would go away if I did. Thankfully it works and looks like I should be able to modify if my dates are included. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

This is why I don't want to hit it. Seems so fickle and since it is only my back up plan I don't want to lose it.

Plan A - make new ressie

His rumored start date was Aug. 14, which I believe was only for DV.

I am so excited about the MNSSHP in August! As of now we will be there on the 25th and even if we need to change dates the 25th is still in our range! 2 years ago we went and it was DS's (Peter Pan) 3rd birthday! I love this picture! I can't wait to dress both my boys up! The party's pricey but so worth it! We rode splash mountain 3x in a row by ourselves and didn't need to get out!

Still reading forward so this may already have been answered but when you check in you will need to prove citizenship with your passport. If you can't the deal is removed from your reservation.

Same thing is happening right now with people who purchased the Canadian discounted park tickets. The first time we enter the park we need to have our Canadian Passports with us for each member of our party to prove citizenship.

The UK discount does not require citizenship - it only requires that you like in the UK. We have family that has lived in the UK for the last 5 years or so and they have used this discount twice. They are US citizens. They did have UK drivers licenses though, so they could prove that they lived there with no problems.

Ok, so I REALLY don't mean to be a wet blanket or rain on anyone's parade. **please do not throw anything at me** I am just as anxious as everyone else for FD to be released (which is why I am here)..... BUT Disney JUST released summer discounts on March 27th (about a week later than last year). April 10th would ONLY be 2 weeks later. Usually, there are about 4-6 weeks between major seasonal promotions being released for the US. I find it hard to believe that April 10th will be the release date, but as we all know The Mouse will do whatever he wants. Just my opinion, please only throw pixie dust.

It was the last Monday of April the last two years. 2014 was on May 7 so first Wed in May I believe. So will probably happen in the next 3 weeks or not at all. It's all speculation I think none of us know but also not letting our guard down.

No I Don't. I think it will mirror Canada's dates. We don't know the dates yet.

I was thinking the same thing. They said all other promos were early but summer was released 2 weeks later then usual. I wouldn't even be surprised if it was early may this year!

2013 it was May 9th, a Thursday.

I think 2014 was the "awful year". FD was rumored for May 7 and then did not drop until that Friday. there many, many horrible posts when FD did not drop as predicted.

Thanks I didn't have this info anymore. They removed 2013 from the data I was looking at when 2017 came out.

I believe 2013 was a split release too. They only released the first half (late august through September) early in May. I remember waiting and waiting for FD as I had an October 2013 trip planned for me and my BFF for my 40th bday, and we were relieved when we got a pin code for FD and used it, and didn't have to keep waiting for the October dates to be released.
