So, this may be a redundant question. What is stopping a US citizen from booking the UK Disney package?
I have tried haha :) yes the address is where you get hung up. Also, you would have to pay with euros or pounds and the exchange rate has been pretty bad in our favor. I think now it's about even but in years past it wasn't good.

They seemed to have opened up more ROL dinner packages for August, YAY!! I was able to get Lunch at TH for the Friday (8/25) that I wanted , so excited!! Before I was only getting Tuesday or Saturday Dinner reservations (which I didn't really want), So if you were looking and couldn't get your day.. you might want to give it a try now. There seem to be a lot of open slots.

If FD is dropping on Monday (hopefully!) we should start hearing rumors tomorrow! I hope so, I can't take this wait much longer. I already have a wait of 230 days til my trip, I hate waiting for 2 things I'm excited for! I feel like once FD drops, I can pay down my trip, pick ADRs and finalize everything...everything is in limbo until I figure out whether we'll have FD or not. We're going either way, but it will change everything. Then, after FD I have to wait for my ADR date...

I've tried to use my cousin who lives in Florida's address to book with florida resident prices, but you need to show ID at check-in apparently, to prove you live in Florida...so much for that!

Still reading forward so this may already have been answered but when you check in you will need to prove citizenship with your passport. If you can't the deal is removed from your reservation.

Same thing is happening right now with people who purchased the Canadian discounted park tickets. The first time we enter the park we need to have our Canadian Passports with us for each member of our party to prove citizenship.

That was last year. One time it was just after midnight til 2am, and then it opened up again around 6am. It could be any time really.
Sorry for the dumb question, but are all talking about this popping up on Disney website, correct?? So when the promo is rumored to drop, you all log in and keep refreshing until it comes up?

In order to get 'prepared' for a possible FD drop on Monday, I went to our res on my computer to make sure everything was as it should be...and I am so sad. I just realized there is no modify/change link on our reservation at all. Which means I'll have to wait until 7am with all the thousands of other people to call. I really wanted to avoid that if possible because of long waits and the possibility of what we want/need being gone. My guess is I don't have the ability to do it myself because of whatever changes they made when we were moved from CBR to a SSR 2bdrm villa (in lieu of gift cards). I did ask on a previous call about having any difficulty adding on a 'free dining' promotion to my reservation at a later date and was assured that we would have no trouble.
Now I am kinda freaking out...as we Dis'ers are prone to do. The uncertainty and not knowing if its all going to work out or not....its killing me!! TIME FOR FD to drop! :thumbsup2

Try calling Disney; I seem to remember someone saying that their IT Dept could add back your modify/change reservation button...

I also changed from CBR to the 2 bedroom at SSR and I have the modify/change link on mine.

I was kind of thinking that I would probably be better off making a new reservation at SSR under the FD promo then calling and having them change my nightly rate back to my CBR rate....if possible!

Believe me, I was really expecting to see it there! Maybe I'll give them a call to see if they can add it back to my reservation. *Fingers crossed*

I just did the same thing OT did. I went into my reservation and I do have a change button. I clicked on it to see what the options were and it says "add a dining plan". Now will there be a new button for adding a FD promo and you just click on that to make the change? Thank you so much. :)

I may try calling. I'd prefer to have all the details worked out before it happens. Good thing I checked the reservation before I just opened it up hoping to get it on the day FD comes along. I'd have been so disappointed/angry if I tried to do it that morning and didn't find it there.

Also, when I click on the ADD DINING PLAN button, it won't go to the dining plan page. It just refreshes and goes back to the original page!! Is this a sign that FD is coming soon????? :hyper:

I tried to go through the pages and find the initial post about the FD possibly being announced Monday. I can't find it ... so many pages. Does anyone know the rumored dates?

When I click to change tickets or add dining plan it just refreshes the page. I can do everything else.
