So, this may be a redundant question. What is stopping a US citizen from booking the UK Disney package?
You usually have to have a UK billing address. So, if you have a friend/family member in the UK who can pay for the trip and then you can pay them back, you may be able to take advantage of it. But the Canadian ticket deal also required that you confirm you are a Canadian citizen or resident (e.g. passport, utility bill in your name); I didn't see something similar for the UK deal, but it may exist.

:offtopic:I know we're off topic here but we've been talking a lot about MNSSHP so... How many people do you think just stay in? I don't mean to be a wet blanket for anyone, but if I'm paying that much money for less crowds I don't want extra people crowding the streets. (Here's a Mickey head so you remember that I'm nice ::MickeyMo)

They checked our bands at almost every land entrance and on every ride.

The CM's all line up and create a barrier at the land entrances, not letting you pass unless you have a wristband. Within the first hour or two they start to tighten the boundary and make their way across the hub and down main street. Anyone who they can't see their wrist (like if a shirt/jacket was covering it up), they ask to see the wristband. I think they have it down to a science to prevent people from sneaking into the party without paying.

Just thought I'd share this in case it helps anyone. I was on the phone with a cast member and talking about how to make an online change to a reservation. He said that two things would prevent you from being able to modify a reservation...one is Memory Maker and the second is Magical Express. He said that if you already have either of these 2 things on the reservation, you wouldn't be able to modify the reservation. Not sure of the accuracy of this, but wanted to pass it along in case it helps.

When I first made my reservation I had added Magical Express. Then I didn't have the change option. But I called to add PH tickets and the CM had some issues making the change, but was able to do it. Then the change option came back up. I have called recently to add the flight info to Magical Express but I still have the change option. So, I would highly recommend calling Disney!

I have tried 2 WDW trips and both were disasters. First trip was cut super short by my cousin's wedding in Miami and my 20 year old daughter got sick. This was in 08. Fast forward to 13 and my younger (then 22) daughter and I went. She has epilepsy and had not one but two major seizures, we had one good day in the park, one emergency trip back to the hotel where we stayed in our room for 3 days (we were pixie dusted by WDW, they delivered balloons, flowers, stuffed Minnie and get well card from Mickey and Minnie) Then she decided she felt well enough on the evening of day 4 to try the parks again, no rides, just shows and stuff... and had a second seizure in which she was injured. We went by ambulance and spend the next 2 days in Celebration hospital, then back to the resort for another day in the room then home.

Fast forward to today, and my best friend and I planning a trip in September. Two 50 year old women, no kids... I WILL SEE DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!! Hope everyone has wonderful trips! (and free dining!)
It's about time! Good for you, you'll have wonderful time. I didn't get to go at all until after 50...and there is nothing better.

I have modified reservations that have both. Also, I've noted that the "modify" button is not always available but that doesn't mean it won't be at some point. A couple years ago I had 2 reservations. 1 did not have the modify button until, luckily, the morning the free dining promotion went on sale.

I tried to upgrade our dining with this deal, and kept getting an error. Can you modify it online or should I just call? Has anyone done this over the computer successfully? Thanks!
My guess is that you have to call. Let us know how you make out, and verify the cost upgrade for us. I had to look really hard to find this info, so it would be good to have someone do it recently. Thanks.

You could be like me and have the change reservation link and it not work!! It's so frustrating, I have 3 rooms at CBR booked.

Two of those I can use the change reservation link. The third one is broke! I click on it and it just refreshes the my reservations page.

I have called Disney IT and they tried to fix it. They couldn't and sent it to someone else to see if they could fix it. They said they would email me when it is done. That was over a week ago and it still doesn't work. :badpc:

Mine does the same thing. I have 2 reservations, 2 studios at Boulder Creek. When I realized the MVMCP would be on one of our nights, I tried to change our tickets from 5 days to 4 days. It let me do it on my In-Laws reservation, but not the other one. It makes me wonder if I will be able to add the FD promo when it drops? I guess I should call and try to fix it.

I have memory maker and have a change button.

Does your change button work? I have 2 reservations to (hopefully) update for friends but when I click the 'Change' button on both of theirs it just circles back to the My Reservations screen.

Unfortunately having the change button doesn't always mean that it works.

I hope for you it does though!

If FD is dropping on Monday (hopefully!) we should start hearing rumors tomorrow! I hope so, I can't take this wait much longer. I already have a wait of 230 days til my trip, I hate waiting for 2 things I'm excited for! I feel like once FD drops, I can pay down my trip, pick ADRs and finalize everything...everything is in limbo until I figure out whether we'll have FD or not. We're going either way, but it will change everything. Then, after FD I have to wait for my ADR date...
Yes, if the release date is indeed Monday, we will probably hear something from danny25 tomorrow. Last year he made his announcement on Apr. 22, the Friday before the FD release. Mind you, not sure his details were 100% accurate but they were close. His rumored start date was Aug. 14, which I believe was only for DV.

I haven't hit it. I'm not planning on modifying mine just making a new ressie and cancelling the old one.

So I just checked my change button to see if it works. I've not wanted to click on it for fear that it would go away if I did. Thankfully it works and looks like I should be able to modify if my dates are included. Keeping my fingers crossed!!
