I read several pages back and see that thoughts are leaning toward the 24th now for a release date. Is there a reason that thoughts have shifted from the 17th to the 24th? I know it is all just speculation, and we all want the same thing, Free Dining!!! I'm planning a Sisters trip with our kiddos for September and I can not wait!!!

I think if memory serves that was said because it is Easter. But it is only a couple thinking that - just speculation. We have nothing solid at all. Not even semi solid. Less than nothing.

We got chicken parm when we were there in February. It was not served with pasta. For some reason I believe it is served with some small potatoes (which probably doesn't help either). One of our friends is diabetic and they would not allow a substitution. All the other restaurants did (we were on the meal plan). Maybe they will when you go.

Yeah no potatoes either. Thanks I remember that now.

Sorry to be off topic, but I can't find the answer to this anywhere else. We want to do the Star Wars desert party, but due to her illness my daughter can't have any processed sugar. I was wondering if they have any sugar free options. Anyone here know?

Trying to find info since I just looked at this party. I know other dessert party's have had sugar free options. Not a lot but there. And I have definitely read that there was cheese and watermelon and grapes at the Star Wars party.

You should also note it in your reservation I'm sure they will have something available.

I've never been, but as a previous poster stated, they do have fruit kebobs, cheese and olives, flatbread and hummus. I've also seen a review on these boards (can't remember where sorry) where someone was gluten free and went. They were provided with a couple of alternative snacks, but it was just pre-packaged allergy friendly stuff that is common around the parks- nothing themed or unique to the dessert party. Your best bet would be calling and asking to speak to someone about allergies at the dessert party and they should be able to let you know what the options available are and whether or not they will provide anything additional without sugar.

I've been occupying myself by reading trip reports. Anyone have good suggestions? We have a sister trip (28 & 32) in September; care more about rides and shows than characters.

Okay also a good idea. I actually like this idea better. I am just going to pay for this OOP and use my credits elsewhere. Then they won't care who orders and eats what right?

We ordered a pizza for 4 of us and it was fine with waiter. Idk if you could order a pizza oop and use a dining plan for your meal. Ordered a large pizza for me, DH,dd16 and DD 11. WITh tip it was $48. (I don't know why I still have my hotel bill haha) we got water to drink. We had plenty to eat. It would not of been a good use of 4 ts credits.

My guess is still for the 17th. Partly (okay mostly) because the kids are home and i can go back to sleep after FD drops. I also have the idea that they are already trying to attract us Canadians with discounted tickets maybe they want to release it on a day that many Canadians have off so they see the offer and book. That's just my selfish want to sleep in theory. That and the 24th is my birthday and I really don't want to spend it so tired, LOL!
