I finally figured out all the adr's we're going to do, then all of this talk about Biergarten is making me reconsider...I might have to swap out my Tutto Italia for it...

We went to tutto Italia for the first time in feb and it was so good! Definitely going there again!

Ok maybe this is a stupid question or my lack of enthusiasm creeping up - say the dreaded happens - no heads up FD just drops - given the amount of helpful and considerate people I see post here can I assume someone will still post hey you guys FD is up ???

I just really want news already can you tell?!

Haha, I was actually having this internal mental dilemma. What if I see it's up? Do I book or go tell all my friends on here??? I realized I could use my phone too and try to multi task a quick "go go go", while using my laptop for my reservations.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I will look back at the menu. I could do something like chicken Parmesan without the pasta. Maybe they have a salad.

Yeah it will not only irritate me but also get me angry. I can understand how they don't want sharing because pizza is an easy thing to share but if not touching their food and ordering my own then I might get really irritated and so will dh. I don't need that on vacation.

We got chicken parm when we were there in February. It was not served with pasta. For some reason I believe it is served with some small potatoes (which probably doesn't help either). One of our friends is diabetic and they would not allow a substitution. All the other restaurants did (we were on the meal plan). Maybe they will when you go.

I was hoping to have that secondary chat up and running in case it drops without notice while the boards are down. I actually had a nightmare last night that I missed it and everything I wanted was booked.

I had a crazy WDW dream last night. I was at home and I looked at the clock and realized I only had half an hour to pack my stuff and get to the airport before my flight was going to leave. I spent the dream running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get things packed and I couldn't find my phone (which happens A LOT in real life). I eventually woke up but man it was stressful!

people will be posting as soon as they are able to start booking FD. As Black and Dirty Steve always point out, it's just an educated guess/rumor until FD actually drops even when we have advance info

Have you done any of the dessert parties before? We've never done one and I've always wondered if it was worth it. Are the sweets yummy?

I haven't, this will be my first! The general consensus seems to be they were glad they did it but it was too expensive and they probably won't do it again. I've seen several comments that the Star Wars dessert party is better for some reason and people seem to be more willing to do that one again. That's the one I want to do, anyway, but they haven't released dates yet. I booked this one just in case I don't get the Star Wars one. It's my understanding the amount of people allowed for this is pretty limited. The number I heard was 70.

I'm booked for 12/9-12/16. I'm hoping, based on last year's dates, that we're looking good for the free dining but you never know! We got lucky last year - checked in the Sunday after Thanksgiving, right in the middle of a three day window for free dining. The only part of free dining i don't look forward to is the inevitable leftover snack credits the last day. We end up running around using them up on snacks for the car ride home!

I will be there at the same time! High five...here's to hoping our dates will score some free dining. We'll be at Pop.
