Just found it. It's called chatzy. Lol!!! What weird timing. I've been thinking about finding it for days and when I do you say it. Universe is weird. Why don't you say free dining is going to be Monday. Hehe.

It has to come at some point, why not Monday? ;)

I have to create the chat room because it's a private one. I'll do so on the night we are staying up to see if it drops then I'll post the link and you can join in that way. :thumbsup2[/QUOTE]
Oh, okay thanks! So excited! My energy is renewed.

I really want free dining and I could certainly use the savings (my lovely landlord just let me know that beginning June 1st she will be upping my rent 300 a month) but I dont know if I want it bad enough to move over to a mod under heavy construction.

This trip is my once in a lifetime dream trip-I live too close to the other Disney for it not to be my go to resort-so I want to do it right and enjoy myself. I am really hoping that I will be able to get free dining and that it will be offered at mods other than CBR and CSR or that it would bring a deluxe into my price range. Here is to hoping I guess.
OMG that's a huge hike, Wow! So sorry to hear. That will put a huge hole in your budget. Here's wishing you FD for sure!

My daughter and I do....we have our own pin boards at home.....4 filled and counting, and enjoy trading in the parks and buying a few new ones on each trip.
It's fun isn't it. I buy one brand new one every time I go. I lost one of my favorites this winter, I attached it to my pocketbook and it must have fallen off. Lesson learned.

Looks like another lost weekend.... I remember reading through last year's thread and folks got the "heads up" on the Friday before. The thread went ballistic! Another painful week of anticipation ahead. :sad2:

They're providing "pop up" food places and a buffet breakfast but the TS restaurant will be closed and there will be no food court.

Plus all of Trinidad North will be closed. Strong rumours suggest that is where the gondola will be built.
Trinidad north is in the process of having work done and should be open soon. Barbados and part of Martinique will close. Rumors of a moderate DVC hotel being built, the gondolas. Lots of speculation. The place that serves breakfast will have some kind of dinner, and there will be grab and go food stations in each village.

That's ok. I've come to enjoy everyone's company. We'll hang out a little longer.:sunny:
Next weekend would be ideal for me in some ways. I have the Monday off for Easter and staying up all night on Sunday wouldn't be quite as painful. I could at least nap the next morning.

It also could mean that Disney has gotten better at preventing rumour leaks‍♀️ If that's the case, this could potentially mean that no more head's notice like it's been in the past

Wow...that would be brutal! We can't randomly stay up every Sunday night hoping the following Monday is the day! Then we'd have no advantage of getting something at 4 a.m. Hope this doesn't happen!

they have been cutting down on leaks the last few years but @black562 and @The Dirty Steve have good sources. I bet they will have some firm info 24-48 hours before FD drops

I am anxiously waiting also! We leave for Disney on Friday and I hope it drops before then and not while I am there. I will probably book free dining for either Nov or Dec. I doubt any of October is included.
The last week of October has a lot of availability so I have high hopes it will be included as 2016 was the first year it wasn't

After reading th
SO I have done all of the math. I have tested three dates, and two rooms. I looked at Disney price, My TA price, FD price and 20% RO discount (Pete did say to check math, after all, it could have been more)

So 10 nights 8-day hopper DDP (pop)
Disney-5095
TA-4100
FD-3014
RP discount 20% 4542
This is just to show a difference in all these different prices. If anyone wants to use them for your own comparisons I thought I would share it.
Right now I am planning with the TA and picking some days for each park and starting to set up. If FD drops and I can get it. Either from me staying up so late, or my TA. Then it will work for us but if not I am just so excited to get to go finely. (and have this remake trip, in the making of 10 years lol)

JadeDarkstar I'd like to send you a PM but I don't know how. Can someone clue me in.

Yep 300 more a month for a house without any modern amenities -no central heat/air, no a dishwasher, no garbage disposal, I dont even have off street parking. The neighborhood has also been on a serious decline in the last 5 or so years as well and I have had to kick homeless people out of my yard and worry about theft. We will likely move eventually. If I am going to be paying the same rent as luxury apartments with loads of amenities, hardwood, floors, fitness rooms, ect. then I might as well move into one of those. We have stayed in this house for the last 9 years to avoid the house-poor-trap so we could still do fun things, take vacations, and make memories. California living is no picnic in many aspects.

Thanks for the good wishes. hopefully the wait for free dining come to a swift end with all of those on this board getting what they need to bring a trip into line with their budget.

Go up to your inbox and click on "start a new conversation". It will open a page. Type in the name of the person you want to send to (their Avatar name), and fill in the message. Hit send, or post, whatever it says and the person will get it.

This is just outrageous! Kicking the homeless from your dooryard? Is it because it's super expensive to live in California?
