They will still want your card as a guarantee, I just booked 2 CRT reservations yesterday for the September trip and used credits, now that I think about it do they even take the dining plan on that show.....sorry might have some incorrect info?
 
If you booked with a dining package you should be able to use table service credits to make your reservation.

We don't have a dining plan on our reservation right now. If we don't get free dining, then we're not going to use the dining plan (and will cancel the dinner show). So if we add the dining plan later, all I'll have to do is call? or is it better to cancel the SOA reservation, add the dining plan, and then rebook and not be charged? I don't care about paying for it now, I just wan to to make sure I get money back in the future as easily as possible.
 
Will the pool at CBR be affected by the construction? Disney said that the "recreation areas" will be under construction starting may 1

One of the smaller pools in one of the villages is being upgraded, but those rooms are closed, so it won't affect guests. The main pool will be unaffected.

Yup as soon as you add a plan call them and they can get it switched or cancel it also whichever the case.
 
OK......joining the fray. I just spent way TOO MUCH time reading 112 pages of this thread.......now 114.

I asked DSS (Disney Signature Services) and they said I would not be charged the new ticket prices if I change to FD (if offered). Seems there is confusion on this. I will push DSS to hold true to this if it ends up not being the case.

I made my own reservation on Disney's website (Late January) and I do have a "Change Reservation" option. This is only available online, not in the app.

I have been told by multiple CMs and DSS that it is better to NOT have Memory Maker on the package if you believe you may modify the reservation. Let's be clear though, they don't know A LOT. I had DSS book me a Minnie Dinner @ H&V yesterday. I asked for the Fantasmic Package. They said it wasn't available. Today it was available. They had no idea it was being released the next day!

Love the families recognizing the effort we put into this! This year my 10 yr old helped with all the ADR planning. It has been SOOOOO much fun.

In 2014, booking mid May for November, we had 5 decent options available to us for FD; it is just so hard to know what will be available each year.

I have had a DVisa for 10 years and never once received an offer for DWorld discounts/promotions. I only receive in-store promotions.

I saw the question about countries other than US getting offers - it's the same for US citizens....in reverse. If you looked at booking Disney Tokyo, it had a window of free meals for US citizens.
 
I just noticed that we're up to 114 pages already. Will we run out of pages (250 max allowed on board) before the FD announcement??

No. They changed that rule a few years ago when they upgraded these boards. As an example, the StarWars dessert party thread is currently on page 690.

I was reading some old threads and noticed a lot ended at 250 and the last few pages were telling everyone to go over to the new one.
 
This splash mountain news is making me so sad! It's both my boys favorite ride! We're currently booked with the BB for 8/24-8/29 (I figured airfares would be cheap on Tuesdays and thursdays) but then when I heard food and wine starts on 8/31 (DHs actual birthday) I thought we would maybe push it back to 8/28-9/2 so We could finally experience food and wine! Then DH tells me in January we may move so if that's the case we'll need to go 8/21-8/27! I guess I'm either going to have to leave my BB or push it back a few days....I just want to go to food and wine but I can't do that to my boys! I guess I'll just have to smuggle in more plastic wine bottles and make my own food and wine party! :charac2::scared: Maybe next year!!!
 
I have a quick question for you all. I may be adding a couple to my ADR's, but our schedule won't be solidified until we can book F+ at 30 days out. Should I add them now, just in case, or wait till then?
I would make them now, if it's a popular restaurant, you may not be able to get them later
 
I don't know what is going on with the Disney site but this morning when I got up to make our dining reservations it was only up for like 10 minutes and then I started getting the swirly I'm thinking things going on and now I just went in to look at rooms and absolutely no rooms are showing available for the time that I put in there. It says that there's no rooms are under that offer and I didn't pick any offers

I was just on about 30 mins ago and I could see availability for a number of resorts for my dates. So it was working for me then. Not sure why it's mucking up for you. :confused3
 
I currently have a reservation made at Pop for August 19 to 25 including the free quick service meal per person per day and applied the discount to the DDP. I would hate to lose this discount in the modification of the ressie in case free dining comes out for my dates but I mess it up.

Is there any problem with making a new separate reservation with free dining under my account and THEN cancelling my current existing reservation? I have no problem paying a second downpayment and then waiting for a refund from the cancellation of the first ressie.
