******Official 2017 Free Dining Plan Watch, Wait, and Dream

I currently have a reservation made at Pop for August 19 to 25 including the free quick service meal per person per day and applied the discount to the DDP. I would hate to lose this discount in the modification of the ressie in case free dining comes out for my dates but I mess it up.

Is there any problem with making a new separate reservation with free dining under my account and THEN cancelling my current existing reservation? I have no problem paying a second downpayment and then waiting for a refund from the cancellation of the first ressie.

I have the same reservation, essentially, and was thinking about upgrading to the full quick serve plan or the regular dining plan, is that what you did?

Can any of you get into the Disney dining reservations portion ? I just keep getting a little swirly thing and it won't go through .

I can get in on my phone. I didn't go so far as to actually make a reservation. I was just checking for you, but I could see what's available this morning to reserve.

I remember back in 2013 when free dining came out, I had to call to add it. I don't remember even looking for the change reservation option online. Not to sure it was there, cuz I was stalking these boards and no one mentioned it. However, they did mention a special phone number to call that I didn't see anywhere on the Disney site. Anybody know this phone number?

Thanks, but if I'm adding days, I want to do it more than 60 days out so we can fastpass.

When you booked the bb, were tickets part of the package? That's the part that concerns me as tickets are normally not refundable. I'm hoping it's different when part of a package.

Yes the tickets were part of the package that we booked. We had until 30 before the trip to cancel. Since we only paid the deposit until we new for sure I know for sure we would have gotten the $200 back. I never checked into if we paid in full before the 30 days.

You should be able to add a day any time before you use the last day of your tickets. So it should not be a problem to add it before the 60 day mark.

This is true, but when we went last year, like they said Dinosours and Big Thunder and It's a Small World were all down, and we knew this far in advance. So sounds legit to me.
They also don't want to close down everything at once, or during the busy season, so need to plan and spread it out!

(All still rumors at this point, so who knows if those dates will be accurate)

I'm sure it probably is true. You would think that they would wait and do it say January to March though when it's cold outside and most people don't want to get wet on a ride.

It stinks but I'm hoping if it goes down it will be back up before we go. My 16 year old is a big chicken and Splash is the only thing she will ride like that. When I convinced her thunder mountain wasn't bad and got her on it she screamed at me the whole time! Lol!

Our pump broke about a month ago. It's still not fixed. My hubby is dead set on doing it on his own. I'm ready to go live in a hotel until it's done (nothing within 35 miles though!). Oh the joys of living on a farm.
You've had no water for a month? OMG!

I would think they would close it now, when the weather is cooler and the only ride down is hall of presidents. Instead of when its busy and hot.
