I just ate in Biergarten, which was supposed to be where a Germany ride was built. It felt so weird that it was pretty much the station without the track and a restaurant is there instead

I am not a german food fan (Carmel shop aside which is funny because its half of why Germany is my fave pavilion) so the restaurant replacing a ride is a big bummer to me

That would be great. Especially since Club villain as we knew it seems to be done.

The guardians thing is an awful idea though...it doesn't belong and never will...but I like that They are paying attention to some of the Epcot needs like mission:space.

Wonders of life and imagination seem to be overlooked still...that's disheartening.

In the explanation of the plans they had for Epcot, they said they were responding to what their customers were asking for. One of those things was to make Epcot "more Disney."

no but since I am losing hope that Club Villain is about to return to me, and since theres always been rumors of a Villains land in Magic Kingdom, it might just be the perfect spot. It looks like a wholesome theater and then BAM villains, villains EVERYWHERE

In the explanation of the plans they had for Epcot, they said they were responding to what their customers were asking for. One of those things was to make Epcot "more Disney."

I like the idea a little more knowing that they are making an attempt to link it to Epcot by literally bringing the characters TO EPCOT. I wouldnt want a bunch of rides like this but for just one bonus "fun" ride amidst the education I don't see the harm. The Rat and FEA I understood because of how they explained it as showing the worlds these cultures inspired. I just hope parents take the time to take them to the pavilions and not just the rides. But thats their loss and we just get to enjoy rides AND pavilions now that educate and entertain. For those of us who care about the pavilions this is actually a win!

Well-known poster on another site is saying that the over-arching redo of Epcot is still a work in progress. The image shown at D23 (with no Innoventions) is just one concept being considered/debated. Sounds like it's not worth digging thru that concept image for specifics at this point.

I have to be honest....just about all of these WDW announcements have been leaked for months or heavily speculated. I am THRILLED for the changes but there wasn't much in the way of surprises. I am looking forward to when the construction is over. Lots to look forward to!

They were all discussed...which means they wanted them out there.

The Star Wars hotel is the real shocker...because it seem premature in their timelines.

The other thing is the tron rumor popped up days ago. It makes sense - it's a clone - but it provides a mainline ride in magic kingdom and they haven't built one in forever. That shocks me but I'm psyched for it.

Ratatouille has been filed in permits...as had the Mickey ride.

It's a good bit of work...to be sure. Epcot gets a lot of refurb or addition.

Dak and Epcot still need more (don't sass me...it's still true)

Sure hope not the villains show sucks. That's why DCL is getting rid of it. Was on two ships sometime in November it will be gone. Don't think disney wants to put a show that a lot of people don't like in there new theatre.

- Star Wars Land has a name: Galaxy's Edge and is coming in 2019
- Toy Story Land coming summer 2018
- All new deluxe and fully immersive Star Wars Hotel
- Tron Rollercoaster coming to Magic Kingdom - next to Space Mountain, behind Speedway
- Ratatouille ride coming to EPCOT
- Mickey Mouse ride coming to DHS (likely to replace Great Movie ride, didn't explicitly say)
- Gondolas coming - named Skyliner
- Remodel of EPCOT entrance and spine
- New Theater coming to Main Street
- Redo of Mission Space with different missions (red and orange)
- New Table Service restaurant in Mission Space - puts you in outerspace
- um, probably missing something

The Star Wars Resort one I remember hearing about some time ago...but it's exciting nonetheless. As a DVC owner I am interested in the Riviera resort. I was hoping for the unveiling of the new name for DHS, a new country in Epcot, an update for illuminations, a replacement for Stitch and a night parade for MK.
