@rteetz: I'm just catching up on this thread tonight but have you heard of or seen any images out of D23 of a Cantina-style bar? I think this was touched upon earlier in this thread (maybe on Tues?) but seems like a no-brainer given the success of Trader Sam's at the Poly and La Cava in Epcot. A small, hole in the wall type place with great animatronics & tunes would be a massive hit. And a huge boon for tired parents after a long day of lugging junior around the new Star Wars galaxy.

Last Fall, my server at Mama Melrose sat down & had a chat with me over lunch. Basically, she said the kitchen rumour was that MM was on the way out for a Star War's themed eatery or bar (a complete makeover of the restaurant) and she was hoping for a transfer. Another rumour she shared (may have been more her hope than anything), was that MM's kitchen staff & menu would be packed up and moved over to Tony's. She was hoping that, if true, she and some of the wait staff could go too. She loved her co-workers but found working in the half shell of HS - and waiting for the axe to fall - absolutely depressing. Getting in MK would at least help the day pass more quickly. CM rumours rarely have any meat to them. Still interesting to speculate.

Busy mom taxi today - have wanted to post throughout the day, but I've barely been able to keep up with the posts.

Pete Werner says the Mickey ride at GMR will be Mickey taking you through Disney animated movies. He sounded very confident in saying this as if he saw something during his backstage magic tour at WDI this past week.

As I thought about my predictions, I was going to go out on a limb and say that the GMR would not be a "Mickey" ride, but rather showcase Disney movies. Having a Mickey ride inside the Chinese Theatre just didn't make sense thematically. This idea makes much more sense.

I'm so excited about all of this and sharing the fun with all of you!
