Thanks! Guess I'll be on the first bus in the am!
You have time ... And nothing else really to do for 1+ hours .... You're standing anyway ... Might as well do the Disney!

Yeah probably same timing. ...they said they'd return after the race, but since th 10k and half end different places then they started then I'm not sure how that will work out since they cant move the backdrops.Yikes!!! I didn't realize that!
I thought you had until they 'recommended' you head to your corrals ... Which might be the same timing I guess.
I count myself lucky in years past!
I think so, saw people with colored vests with their own cameras and you could use yours as well. You might have mentioned it, but are there photo pass folks at characters? I was resenting the extra charge for photopass with an AP but am loving it right now.
Does anyone know of any 3rd party sites where you can buy the magnets since they are sold out?
I'd watch eBay, but give it some time for the initial hype to die down. I wanted an extra Goofy magnet from Marathon Weekend. They started out around $20 right after the race, but by March they were down to $10-11.
No, you just use the code in the event guide or it's listed on RunDisney under results & pick darkside from the drop down of races. For the Photopass for AP, did you have to get a claim code at the expo?
I was eating dinner in the Boardwalk area, so I thought I would check out the service road and path portion of the 10k and half marathon routes. Here are two photos of the ramp to transition from the Boardwalk service road to the walking path. It seems that they did a great job of blending it level with both the road and the path, but it is a bit downhill, and the boards give a little. I'm interested to see how it holds up after both races.

Interesting, looks like a short choke point but better than what I expected. Thanks for the picture.
RunDisney will be getting an email from me on Monday morning about the merchandise issue. No excuse for no magnets to be left on Friday morning, and I was there first thing this morning. Same thing happened to me with Goofy 2015.
Either set limits on what people can buy or allow more items to be pre-purchased. They are leaving lots of money on the table by running out of merchandise early.
I will also be sending an email.
