Fyi, that picture might be just a placeholder for the new ones they will release....i found the link commented out on the star wars darkside registration page so it could just have been a copy from the disneyland star wars page and may still get updated.

I think you are right. This pattern is still in the several shops at Disneyland from this year's race. It looked like they had tons left over. I don't think the pattern was very popular.

I have got my DH and I both planning to try to register my DD for the kids race - I can't believe that it's going to be so hard! In 2013 and 2014 I could register them well after the personalized bib deadline for the ToT kids races! Crazy how things have changed in a year!!

I am just glad that the only thing we need is the kids race...and better yet - DD says it will be totally fine if she doesn't run her own race but I have to get her pompoms to help cheer us on! Not a bad trade if things don't work out!

I'm not sure,since all the resorts are going to be host resorts I'm going to assume the half marathon might be over 20,000 runners and they may realize a whole lot of people want in on the challenge,in which case they may have 85-90% of the runners in the 10K doing the challenge.If this is the case I think the challenge might last around an hour or more,but then again what do I know,it's all up to the numbers they want in each race??Luckily I got in last week for the challenge,I have a pretty flexible job so I took tomorrow off as well just in case things didn't turn out well last week,I'll be sitting on these boards after noon to see the action and rooting for everyone on the boards to get the race they planned on.

I thought I read somewhere that if you upgrade your Active account you don't have to wait in the queue when registering, is this correct? Trying to decide if I should do that for both hubby and myself. We want to register for the 10k only with our 2 children.

I would be interested in this as well. I just signed up for the 30 day trial for $1 to avoid the processing fees. It would be really nice if that also gave you the option to avoid the queue.

RunDisney offers discounted rooms, although I am not sure if you have to do a ticket and room package or just race and room. We just booked our trip and for our bibs through our RunDisney authorized agent so we don't have to wait in the cue and take a chance at missing the inaugural race. We paid a little more for bibs, but not enough to take a chance on registration tomorrow. This agent said the room discount packages haven't been confirmed, but they have an idea of what they will offer and that was good enough

They can put together a "package" including miniature golf (which has $0 attached to it) and sell you the reduced rate rooms ..... if they have any for this race. (That's the way we do our Wine and Dine reservations)

Man, this is going to be one heck of a day. I'm nervous as all get out about a dental appointment ths evening (have to get some work done, and I hate the dentist - have to give myself a pep talk everytime I go to the dentist - bad past experiences). And then there's registration for this on the same day. I think it's working my heart into some sort of weird panic frenzy. lol I'm just trying to play it cool.

I keep reliving last week when I just kept getting the on hold message after having blown my first attempt to register for the challenge.

Is this how I will pay for the marathon or will I have to input that on the disney website again? Also, do I need to make an active.com account for each of children who want to participate as well?

For once, I really don't know what to expect! Wish we had some idea of the caps... let's say it's about the same as PHM, so 10,000 each for 5K and 10K, maybe a total 25,000 for the half (incl challenge)? Hmmm... I'll go with challenge gone in 15, 10K in 25, 5K in 45, half lingering for a couple days, at least. Kids races gone faster than I can count, lol!

You'll do all the registering in Active - so theoretically if you have your cc info in there, it should pick it up. I'd have the info handy, though, just in case. As I understand it, each person over age 18 needs an individual account, but you can register minors through your own account.
