I only do it if I plan to go straight into the parks after the race (I stay offsite, so if I go home I'm really not likely to leave to go back to the parks) - and it's usually a change of clothes and shoes.
In the event guide they seem to all but beg people not to check a bag. "Please, please, please consider not checking a bag." (Ok, maybe only 1 please)Am I the only one that never checks a bag at races? Is it something I should consider for PHM?

Don't we all? lol
Silly question. Right now our plans have us going to MK after the 5k, and Epcot after the 10k. Should I switch those since Epcot is more walking?
I don't check a bag...I just want to go back and shower, and the MB make it even easier and I order the color to match my outfit I will run in.
i saw a very cute idea to have the Princesses sign your race bib, Im only running the 5k. Would I be able to have the princesses sign it as Im running or would their signatures on the bib mess with the pictures that are being taken etc.

That is a cute idea. Although I don't think I'd do it during the race, I might take the bib around the parks with me and have them sign it afterwards-or before- although I'd be too paranoid to take it around before. In fact, my best friend's daughter is running the kids mile on Friday and we're having dinner at Cinderella's castle that afternoon- I'm gonna mention bringing the bib along and getting it signed by the princesses at dinner.i saw a very cute idea to have the Princesses sign your race bib, Im only running the 5k. My guess is we'll see bib numbers tomorrow morning and the corrals/waivers on Thursday. Just my guess though.
I wondered if they would ignore us tomorrow since it is registration day for Disneyland Half??

I never check a bag either, but most likely because there is someone waiting for me at the finish that I can leave things with them. For Disney runs I use the bag to stock pile whatever I think I may want or need to get back to resort room, but still have someone hold it so I don't have to wait around at bag check get my stuff.Am I the only one that never checks a bag at races? Congrats! I am hoping to qualify this fall! (I noticed two halves I plan to run are within two weeks!)
I actually enjoy walking after races. I know that we did Epcot last year after the 10K. I enjoyed a slushie in France as a reward for the race. There are plenty of places to sit and relax as well if you need a break!![]()

Probably not. I think that would eat up too much time on the course if they let all the characters do signatures. I think those people probably went to see the Princesses in the parks before or after the race.
It worked for me on firefox. Maybe your browser is wonky?Ok, so I try to get on the runDisney site and nothing but a white screen comes up. HELP!
