Pretty sure it's June 30.I think that there is early registration for AP and DVC members on 20 Jun. Still believe DH and I will do PHM for one last time and probably will...walk ! dH is recovering from surgery on his foot ( bone spur behind Achilles tendon) so running could be hard and we both can walk 14 min miles so not too worried about being swept. Realize we could be in the last corral but keeping in mind that balloon ladies don't start until the last person in the last corral has started so yes my goal is to keep one step ahead of the balloon ladies . Maybe the finish line photo will be with them right behind me !![]()
Will all WDW resorts have transport on race day?

I don't THINK it will. Lately they have been sticking to AP/DVC registration 2 weeks before regular registration.Swear I saw 20 Jun at one time but thanks for the update !Will remark calendar for 30 Jun with hopes it doesn't change
Speaking of proof of time, can anyone give me a sense of roughly what times will put you in which corral? The 10K I ran a couple of weeks ago posted my time at 56:34 -- I'm not sure if I could go faster but if I wanted a better corral I could try!![]()
Nope, you don't. The downside is that by not providing proof of time you will end up in one of the later corrals, possibly the last one.Newbie questions! Talking about going this with some friends. I read through the thread regarding corrals & proof of time. What happens if you don't provide proof of time? I didnt have any plans on doing a 10K or 1/2 other than this. It's on my bucket list & will train for it. But do I HAVE to provide proof of time?
I think technically you aren't supposed to, but I know non-DVC and non-APs have used early registration. Who knows if they'll ever crack down on that...Also I'm a DVC member, if I register early does anyone know if I can register a non DVC member early? Wouldn't want to get myself registered & my traveling partner done his doesn't.
Thanks!

I don't have anything to add other than I want @HockeyMomNH to make me a cake for my birthday next year!
I'm a little confused about submitting times. I thought you didn't need to submit a time for a 5K or 10K and your corral was just based on when you registered?
Welcome!!Hi everyone!
I can't believe I haven't seen this forum yet. I've been posting questions about the events in the DVC forums, but this is a whole new world !
Me and DH are planning to run the Glass Slipper in February. I'm nervous about the training because Toronto literally freezes over in December and outdoor training is near impossible. I trained for a full once mostly on a treadmill and regretted going that route, but a half should be better!
Quick question- is there a separate link to Glass Slipper for a single event registration, or do you have to score a spot in both the 10k and the Half and then they're combined? Does that make sense?
No...it's not legal to walk to the starting line and it would take a looooong time (starting line is at the front of Epcot). The bus ride from the Epcot resorts is short. Also, and sorry for the newbie questions, if we manage rooms at Boardwalk or Beach Club, we could walk to the starting line, correct?
While it's true that the race is geared toward women, men are welcome. My brother ran it with me in 2011 and didn't get any dirty looks or anything (not that I know of anyway), and he had fun!Hubby is unsure about the Princess theme and feels men aren't really welcome in the race. Is this true? He's already missing out on the Nike Womens Run I'm doing this month here, and he really wants to do a Disney event, but he doesn't want to feel self conscious. Any words of encouragement from anyone who can convince him otherwise?
I think you can sign him up during early registration, yes. No one needs an Active.com account to sign up, but if you have one it'll save you some typing on registration day.Thank you SO much!!! I'll be on this thread a lot, lol. Hopefully I can pay it forward as time goes on! I've done sooooo many races, but I've never been so nervous about missing out on one as I am for this one, lol. I think it's because this is pretty much the only chance we have for the foreseeable future to do this race, as my mom is coming with us on our February trip and can watch our little guy.
One more quick question- can we sign DS (6) up for the kids' dash races at the same time for the early registration? Does he need an Active.com account as well or how does this work?
