Official 2016 HHN-26 Thread

Are you planning on visiting the Food & Wine Festival booths whilst you're at Epcot? From what I understand they're busier on a Saturday than on a Friday.

Yes we are. And while I imagine they are busier on Saturday than Friday...

If we go Friday, we'll have at MOST 4 hours to visit world showcase/food & wine booths (11 to 3, when we leave for Magic Kingdom)
Wheras if we go Saturday, we'll have well beyond that, 'til the park closes at 10.

I've been chewing on it a great deal, and we've more or less decided to move Epcot to Saturday (barring a last minute backslide). I hate to cut into 1 of our 3 HHN Nights... but I feel like 2 HHN Nights (plus whatever time we might get late Saturday, after Epcot) is still decent. But we'll definitely WANT the extra Epcot time, for food & wine (and just not to be rushed trying to do the whole park in half a day).

A Thursday and a Sunday at HHN in September should be enough to cover everything at least once right? (I think?)

When will the email invitations to the aph event be sent? Just wondering if I missed it.

Just wondering if anyone has been to an opening night scaremony (not sure if I spelled that right). My daughter will be able to go on opening night this year and I think it would be fun to see that. She probably won't be in the park prior to the gates opening so do they do this at 6:30 when the gates open and where does this take place? Thanks!

Sunday's used to be a low attendance period but that all changed about 4 years back

When you see Sunday having a 2 am closing, that is because UO expects larger crowds

I'm having trouble finding the hours. Is there a link to the HHN operating hours? Particularly 9/25? I wonder if that is a 2am closing Sunday!

I'm curious about this too. I've never seen any opening scaremonies at past events. Is this show only on opening night? Do they do it every year?

If you're an AP holder and have RSVP'd to the AP early entry event, does that mean you'll miss the opening show (if it's at the front gates)?

To get the Hhn hours go to the calendar page

Hours will be listed in that section

Using my cell I can not bring it up to show you

If you don't find it I will use my iMac and bring it up there to show you here

That will be later today after I get home

I did opening ceremonies once and that was enough for me

Once the news peeps leave, the front of the park empties out

I was more interested in things in the park opening night

It is ok to hit the opening one time if you are curious in watching it
I found it okay but nothing spectacular

All a personal choice

We did it for the first time last year just to see it, yep, nothing special.........

Wouldn't rush to see it again.
