We have: Halloween 2, Chance, Krampus, Chainsaw, TWD, and Exorcist announced. So it leaves 3 more houses if there's going to be 9 again. 4 technically since all we know about Chance's house is that there is going to be one, no story/theme yet.

No scare zones have been announced yet, not counting Chance again.

They did Insidious last year, and with no other sequels to it planned at the moment (as far as I know), I doubt it will be back. Maybe well into the future as a "classic" house, kinda like Werewolf last year and HHN 23. There are rumors Hollywood at least tried to get The Conjuring, but didn't and that's why they're doing TCM, but again just rumors.

Just FYI: the remaining houses to be released are 2 originals (besides Chance's story), and what is heavily rumored to be an AHS. Of course they've been trying for 3 years to get AHS, so who knows if they will finally succeed. If so, it will likely be a best of house, and probably this year's mega-house.

Yes they do. Just about any smell you can imagine. They had poo smells for a couple houses with a bathrooms in them. They used baby powder smell for Dollhouse of the Damned in a room with baby characters. I imagine Krampus this year will have gingerbread and/or Christmas cookie smells in them.

She's the event icon this year. She started out as Jack the clown's side kick back in HHN 17 during the Carnival of Carnage show, and continued to be featured with him at the icon scare zone at HHN 20. Last year she had a bigger role in Jack's show, and get really good feedback from the guests, so they decided to capitalize on her popularity and make her the icon this year.

Not really. I've read mostly good reviews from people of all ages and a lot of regulars. I watched a video of the last performance of the show last year and people were going wild for her, and Jack of course. So obviously there was more than just teens that liked her.
