As I expected, I didn't get any official merchandise. Me and the Country Bears = apathy.

But I didn't see any "I Did It" (or @courtneybeth's Idiots shirts, as it were) for the 5K...
Not that I would have purchased one. Bears, you know.

This was probably the best experience I've had at an expo so far. I was so happy that I didn't witness people grabbing tons of the same item to resell this year. Thank you Disney for taking the AP discount which saved me almost $50 today!!

Also if you get the Dumbo New Balance shoes at the 30% off they're throwing in some dumbo themed socks for free!

So I saw a picture on Instagram of a bunch of the upcoming medals on display at the expo, including the Wine and Dine ones. But it was from a distance and hard to see. I've seen the official pictures of the Wine and Dine medals that were revealed a few weeks ago but it would be nice to see them from different angles. So if there's someone who hasn't been at the expo yet or is going back who would be willing to try to get some pictures of them and post them in the Wine and Dine thread, I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks!

It was fun! I took it super easy and took most pictures after the castle. My first RD event so I didn't know what to expect but it was great! Super inspiring to see all the different people from the Starspeeders to the Eyeores to the Lilos to the Carls.

Well according to the runner tracking texts I just started the 10k at 2:40pm on Friday lol. I just needed a head start I guess.

I was in line at Big Thunder and my bib is even farther away! Nowhere near the start and finish lol... Can I use this as a new proof of time?

Quick question for folks staying over on the Harbor side of things (especially if you did the 5k this morning). Will the direct path through the security checks, park entrances, and DTD to the starting area be open in the morning? How long did it take to get to the corrals through there? I always get time and route paranoid right before a race.

It's also been killing me spending half the day in the room trying to get this Achilles tendinopathy flare up resolved prior to the races! I'm going stir crazy! One last trip into DCA for dinner here shortly, though.

Yup! There were tons of people coming over from that side. But that said, easy as pie! hope your Achilles calms itself!

I am staying at the Disneyland Hotel and it has been a 10-15 minute walk to the parks through DTD.

Very enjoyable morning! I loved all the different bears on the course, especially a Duffy sighting.

I maintained my time from May, despite bruising (breaking?) a toe last weekend. Whoops!

And I over 31,000 steps for the day.
