Well, the money tree failed to produce in time, so no Tink for me this time. My DD25 and I are thinking of doing the Avengers. Would we still get a C2C medal if we are doing Princess?

You will still get a C2C, but it will be a blue one, not pink

It was mostly good - we started having issues* on Friday (last full day of the cruise) and our travel home was a nightmare, but everything up until then was great.

*no fault of Disney's.

Yes- as long as they are in the same calendar year. You'll get the regular blue one, not the pink one you get for the Princess and Tink C2C. I did Avengers last year and am signed up for this year- it's another fun one!

Thanks! Mostly what I need is to focus on the good parts of the trip...the travel home is freshest in my mind since it was the most recent thing, but the majority of the trip was good.

Seriously! I'm not even totally sure what the issues were...I know part of it was some sort of storm near the airport (at least we weren't in the air when that happened!) but then another flight didn't have the crew there in time or something...I don't know. We didn't get many answers.

did anyone book a DL hotel today? i think the DL hotels are going to be out of our price range for 2016 :-(
with two trips in 2016 to DL and our APs expiring before Tink (not sure if renewing or not) i think we will have to go with a GNH instead of DL this time!

forgot to add that Mr.dec2009mama is going for the 5K and Lildec2009mama is signed up for the kid races

I booked PPH for Star Wars today, does that count? I does look like the rates for Tink are higher! For Tink I'm definitely doing offsite. Actually considering it for Star Wars too since it would save so much money. But I love that walk from PPH to the corrals in the morning, and the room service after the race!

I would love the short walk and room service after the races, but when I analyzed it I literally would end up spending about 700 to 800 dollars more for the weekend for the sake of staying on site. Yikes! That's a lot of shopping merchandise etc

Yes, I booked PPH as part of a split stay for Tink Weekend. I've never stayed at PPH before so it should be interesting. I'm glad to hear the good things about it from y'all.

I am seriously considering doing the Tinkerbell 5K next year... Given that sign up will happen pretty soon, I still have some questions about it... I saw something about viewers area and all that... how does it work?
Overall, is it easy to find your family after the run?
I saw the information from this year and it looks like the 5K goes from 5-7am... what happens after?

The mass of runners just head from the Paradise Pier area and out of the park. It rained this year so we walked as quickly as possible back to our hotel for hot showers.

Family members were in the esplanade area cheering on the runners/walkers. Your family can wait for you there to meet up with them when you leave the park.

@maguilart There may have been family members at the Finish line. I remember that area seemed crowded - our goal was to leave as quickly as possible!
