Ok so I was just talking to DH and I am really leaning towards doing the Half this year and making it a solo quick one nighter. Right now STovalls is about $30 more than Pavillions a few doors down. If you were me, and traveling alone, would you pay the extra $30 to be a block closer?
I just left you a message on the DL side thread about how you have to come.
$30 a night or $30 total? If total, I'd stay at Stovall's. I haven't stayed at Pavillions so I can't compare, but it's the last of the hotels before the strip mall and then residential starts. I stayed at the Quality Inn this year across from Denny's and the walk is only about 5 min more from Pavillions than Stovall's so not that much different. However, it was nice at Stovall's last year, I rolled out of bed and left the room at 4:50 to go to the corrals and afterwards, I looked at my watch from the finish line to my room including getting the medals and crossing back across the course it took me 18 min from crossing the finish line and being back in my room. And I'm there and we can finally meet after forever and walk over together.
You have a ticker!

The different venders are geared towards women running, you can always find something new. For me it's running is also a mental game, sure it's physical but sometimes you have to just not let your head get in the way of your feet. One step at a time then one mile at a time. I mentally preparing for my 10 miles I need to run tomorrow. When ever I don't want to run or work out ...when I do I'm always glad I did.
