What time is the 1st parade

I have a question we are staying at CBR. We plan on going to MK until around noon and then back to CBR then we hope to be back at MK right at 4. I would say we would need to catch the bus from CBR around 3ish to make it back. Does that sound right?

We are still working on our plans. Really have no idea what we are gonna do. We have a BOG reservation during the party. So we are gonna hit the Jack/Sally as soon as we can before our reservation. Plan on being in line at 5. Maybe earlier. But have no idea what after that. We want to do the Haunted Mansion and my niece wants to meet the Dwarfs. I don't know if we can get it all in.

We always do the Dwarfs during the first parade. In the past, the wait has been about 30-40 minutes, which is more efficient than lining up 90 minutes before the party starts. I'd rather have two 30 minute waits than a 90 and a 30.

Yeah I suppose I got jack and Sally last year during the parade - but to me the dwarfs seemed to be the longest all night every time I passed by so I like to get my three fast passes and park up at the dwarfs and then go hunt down the others.

I would hop in line for a photo too I guess but I got the "I'm not waiting for this" line from the real life grumpy - so meh.

I have a question- are the "friends" of characters in the parades the same "friends" of characters that do the meet and greets? Or are they different? Trying to gauge how long I'll have to wait for a character to show up at their spot if I'm in waiting in line for them when the parade is still going on.

Slightly off topic but related anyway; I'm going to this Sunday's party. Would anyone want to follow a "live" Twitter report of my evening? I'm going solo, and trip reporting for my home group anyway. I've never "live tweeted" before but it would be fun to share the experience. What do y'all think?

Its closer to 8:45pm. And people start staking out spots on Main Street and the hub starting at 4:00pm. The character lines for the Dwarves and Jack and Sally will start between 4:00 and 4:30 as well. If you want what many people consider a prime location for the parade and/or the castle show, be prepared to hold down a piece of real estate for well over two hours.

The second parade is after 11pm as well, not 10pm this year.

And she doesn't sign autographs during this experience. Make sure your daughter participates in the story time play so she can get her photo with belle. They will give you a memory maker card after the show.

My goodness! All we really wanted was Donald but not for over an hour! So bummed...maybe we will get lucky after the fireworks...
Looks like I better have a backup for my back up plan.

Quick question..hoping someone else knows so I don't have to deal with writing/calling Disney

Were wanting to go the party on the 4th but with sell outs and such i'm a little apprehensive on buying this early..were AP's and we normally do our AP discount..its only a few bucks but its better than nothing...I was wondering how far in advance do I have to buy to get the advance discount as well as with AP do I have to buy in advance or can I buy them like the day before and still get the same deal? Make sense? Thanks

Oh also to add...for those that have done the party this year..where are wristband distrubtion other than the turnstiles. Were coming in before 4 and without the rose garden now..not sure where the closest is.

Also I hate seeing Minnie/Donald/Daisy line being so long..we didn't get a chance to meet Minnie last time and wanted to this year..but it seems with her meeting with the ducks that its just making the line even longer.

not all nights have ap discount due to that i beleive its based on date not time in advance.

I travelled in from All Star Movies and managed to get a seat every time on the way there. I got the bus at 3.15, 3.45 and 4.30. Coming home the first 2 parties I headed down Main St just after the show was starting and got on the first bus (although standing) and only had a 5 minute wait. When I left after the show ended on Sunday (which was a very quiet party) I had to wait 20+ mins for the bus and I had to stand

I am glad to hear how the buses have been to ASMovies after the parties. I will be staying there for the first time in October. Previously my experiences after the parties has been miserable waiting for buses to Pop. I can never seem to get myself to leave early or wait the crowds out. At least now I have an idea what to expect. It sounds like you have been having a blast. I am jealous three parties!
