"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

I thought of another question. Like I said, we'll be starting our day in Epcot and plan to leave there at 3 to head toward MK. We don't want to be in our costumes all day, so somewhere in between leaving Epcot and getting to MK, we need a way to change into them. We've considered just changing in the car, taking turns holding a towel across the window, lol. We also though of planning a lunch somewhere in between and we could change in the bathroom after eating. Any suggestions/easiest way you've done it?

There is a large bathroom area at the Transportation and Ticket Center. All the way to the Left after where you purchase your tickets. They also have a family bathroom in case you need to help anyone with their costume. Lots of stalls too so you likely will not have to wait unless a tour bus is there!

Have now seen Phillip and Flynn training at Epcot this week. Maybe they will be at mnsshp?

:worship:Oh, please let them appear at the Halloween party. My fingers and toes are crossed! We will be there on Oct. 20. I'll be Rapunzel, Mom will be Mother Gothel, and husband, father, father and mother-in law will be Ruffians. I need that pic with Rapunzel and Flynn!

I hope they're for either! I'm going to both, but I'd LOVE for Philip to show at the Halloween Parties. I'll be Aurora & my boyfriend will be Philip, I'd love that photo!

Great news about the one day Memory Maker - thanks smitch!! Of course, now I'm having to rethink my plans, I was planning on taking the bus from my resort, but if I have to go to TTC I might as well drive...

You're welcome!

We have the Pirates and Pals booked during a party night. My TA says we need to get to the Contemporary at 6 pm for the event. That seems kind of early. What time do we need to be there?

It will be around 8:15. Get there at 8:00 and as soon as they start getting ready for check in, you can do their little scavenger hunt.

To make sure I understand right, when we arrive at MNSSHP we can go to the TTA and get a MemoryMaker for $39 that is good for use only at the party?

The regular memory maker for $169 is good for our whole stay?

I used MM before and enjoyed it but with todays technology I can't see paying $169 for photos I can edit myself with free programs. Never had trouble with asking anyone to take a pic of our group for us either. People are really friendly about that. But I might go for the $39 one at the party so we can get the ghost pics at HM.

TTC, and it will be good for your party day only.

I got ours last year from the little booth just past security at MK (across from guest relations).

That info came directly from Photopass, so I would plan on it being TTC only, but people can ask when they arrive if doing MK earlier in the trip than their party day.

With regards to the prince sightings, the blog confirmed that there would be no princes this year, so I would assume it's for MVMCP. We should know tonight, though.

Hourly weather forecast is not looking good. 15% chance of rain at 1pm then 50% at 2pm. 70% at 3pm. 90% at 4pm.

This may be correct for this year. I believe it said TTC only last year as well, however (may be remembering that wrong though).

For now, I agree that it would be best to plan TTC only, and you may hear of another option from reports later on.

I can't get my times to line up great either. I have a 3:05- 4:05 just in case, but cant' get it to shift to 3:30-4:30 :(
I believe you get a 5-minute grace period before your FP time, and 15-minute grace period afterwards? And sometimes they start letting in guests (if it's not too crowded) around 3:45? Hoping it works out for you.

Just so I'm 100% sure, the TTC is right before you get onto the Monorails or the boats and after you get off the tram from the MK parking lot? Where you would walk up and get a ticket if you hadn't already?

Nevermind, found my answer by googling TTC! Just never knew that's what it was called. :rolleyes1

If anyone's going tonight, a piece of info I would LOVE to have is maybe on average how long SDMT standby seems to be? We were unable to get fp+ for SDMT for our entire vacation, and so I thought maybe during the party might be our best bet... so if you're there and happen to notice, I would love to know! Thanks!
