Sorry, but what is the party only memory Maker? and are the Magic shots the pictures with ghosts?

Well just for clarity. The magic shots available for party only: hitch hiking ghosts. Ghost horse and driver with the hm carriage. Last year there was a poison apple cauldron pic. I think it was meant to be villains soiree exclusive but I believe some people got it outside of the soiree. Will be interesting to see if they continue that apple shot this year and if they'll try to make it extra event exclusive like last year.

Anyone have a costume idea for my 7 year old? He's on the autism spectrum - ok with hats but the costume itself would be best if like regular clothes (I think I'd struggle to get him into any of the store bought ones because they are either bulky or a material he's not familiar with). We are going late September so it might still be hot too. And I'm totally about to lose my Disney card over this ... he's not into Disney characters at all. He loves Disney for the rides and the atmosphere but not really into the movies. So I'm actually trying to think of something non-Disney related.

Does he have any interests in what he may want to be? favorite show? character? profession? You may wanna work backwords using something he would want and making it out of regular clothes? And being non Disney is fine my costumes have all been non disney as have many others i've seen!

so is it acceptable to bring a fake sword into the party for a pirate costume? I wasnt sure if I needed to leave the sword at home and substitute it with a bottle of rum....

Yep. They sell them in the park. Just be sure to wear it in such a way that it is not a hazard of any kind.

I apologize if this question has already been answered but when will the princes and princesses begin to do there meet and greets? For example, we want to meet Flynn and Rapunzel. Will they be out right when the party begins or a little earlier? Also we have our tickets for Nov. 1, can we reserve Fastpasses for during the party? Thank you!

It's just across from the ride entrance. Jack photobombed us last year. It's hard to see the background, but it's supposed to look like the building is on fire. I'll find an old pic and post it.

It would be at 7, but there were no princes last year. No word on if they will be meeting this year. FP service ends at 6:30pm.

i made my FP+'s for 10/25 4-6:30pm.. and then i dropped one of my park days.. will the FP's stay and i will be able to use them once i gain MK access with the MNSSHP tickets? I don't see how they would otherwise be removed.

Ok so I did something I have not done before, I stayed up to make my FP selections at midnight EST, for my party day. I'm not using a park ticket that day only my party ticket so I wanted to make sure I got the rides I wanted in that 4-7 time frame. I chose 7DMT, POTC, & HM (this at 5:30 to 6:30).

I really don't plan on much in FL or Buzz or Space Mountain. I also have FP+ for JC and BTMRR and Splash for another day.

I plan to stay late and do the second parade and I don't care about the M&Gs, i do want to get one of the exclusive pins but have been told to go to the frontier land trading post to avoid the crowds on Main Street and to check if they are selling before 7, and I may try to get a party pack for the SotMK game but don't know where to look for that yet. But plan to do that inbetween rides.

Rough plan but being my first party, I am bending towards over analyzing and I am trying to keep chill about it.

So I thought I'd take a step back and just ask.

Does this sound like a feasible plan to those party veterans on this thread?

I got FPs to meet Mickey (figure we'll be in costume even though he won't be), meet Rapunzel (we have Tangled costumes), and HM.
Other than watching the parade and fireworks, we really have no plans for the party. I think we are mainly going to soak up the atmosphere. We may do a few rides and maybe a M&G or two, but it's really up in the air for now. I'm hoping once the first few parties have trip reports that I'll make a better plan.

I would wait to see if Flynn will meet with Rapunzel this year at the party. It's definitely a M&G worth doing during party hours if you get them both.

I prefer to ride HM after the party starts for full effect.

You can get SotMK cards (including party exclusive) at the fire station right when you walk in at 4:00.

Keeping chill is the best thing for parties. Sure, the ride lines are shorter, but the time goes quick. It will be an enjoyable time however long you are there no matter what you "get done".

Very feasible. Make sure to stay on top of the weather the night of, I have seen the second parade rained out.
