"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

After much deliberation I have gotten my boyfriend to dress up for our party on the 25th! We will be going as Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable. Costume is easy enough since he normally wears cargos.

We have a friend who is going with us. Im trying to convince him to go as Dr. Draken but that probably wont happen. I think hes leaning towards dressing up as Walt or Bert from Mary Poppins.

Don't really have a plan for the party besides just ride all the rides and see that last Hocus Pocus show. We will be making a stop at the Monster Inc party because I am long time friend of George. :smooth:

Hello all, do you think it's possible to see Jack and Sally first thing and head straight to 7D? My dd12 is most concerned about 7D but I'd like to see Jack and Sally if they are starting early. What time should we get in line? TIA

A few people have reported that Jack and Sally have been coming out around 5:00 - someone yesterday or the day before said they got in line at like 4:45 (though we go on the 25th and will probably see what the line looks like more like 4:20 or 4:30) and were done meeting J&S by 5:35. You could then get in line for the dwarfs who have been coming out a little before 7 from what I understand and even with a 1.5-2 hour wait for the dwarfs would be done around the time the party started.

I need a little help please! We plan on getting in line for Jack and Sally around 4:30ish and maybe doing some other less popular meet and greets. But, my main focus for the party is the show, parade, fireworks. I'm really struggling to get a plan together for some reason! The second parade and 12am Hocus pocus show would be fine but I think my fear is not getting good spots for fireworks because people didn't move after first parade. (Happened to me the first time I went to Magic Kingdom 2 years ago. Got stuck watching them from the side behind trees.) Can someone give any advice that might make me stop stressing so much about it?! Haha

Can anyone who has been lately and on a rain-free night whether the last Hocus Pocus show is shortened? I'm still unsure whether that last show is always shortened, or has just been shortened on certain nights due to weather.

We were there Friday and Monday nights and it didn't seem to be shortened. Not that any of us noticed anyway.

Last night's party was amazing!!!!
This is my little Alice & Engineer.
All must do's done plus some!
They are so cute! Wonderful costumes!!!! Glad you had a great time.

I have read for the earlier parties that the FP viewing area for the fireworks has been semi empty, and no FPs for the party, so it is open to whomever. Haven't seen if that is still holding true though.

Oh really? I assumed the FP area war for the folks who are part of the dessert party. So, FP area is fair game?

Fabulous!! We'll be there on the Tuesday. I'll plan on getting in J&S line around 4:30 and head right over to 7D! After that, we can enjoy the parade, fireworks, trick or treating and rides!!! Thanks for the insight!
