We went to the party last night and I have to say it really was an amazing time!

It was myself, mom, and sister and we went as White Rabbit, Cheshire, and Queen of Hearts. I had been so nervous going into it this year due to all the bad party reports and weather so I was afraid that it would end up being a waste of money this year...but all in all it turned out to be a pretty close to perfect night..in our opinion at least. I had been watching the weather and knew it was *suppose* to clear out by 7..but all of us Floridians know the weather people are rarely right..mother nature does as she wishes..so we were all praying to her wishing she'd clear out and come back Monday lol. We managed to get all of our must haves done which was a long list that I didnt expect to get all done..esp. depending on the crowd level.
The day started off behind schedule..I wanted to be in the park by 1:30 at the lastest..and we strolled in at about 4:15 to the turnstiles..which I was very unhappy over...I wanted to come early and be able to get photos and such around the park and since were going as wonderland characters I wanted to meet as many as we could pre-party. Plus I was White rabbit and he doesnt meet during the party..so needless to say I wasnt the happiest person..and it was raining (well like a heavy drizzle at best) but still enough to damper the mood..but I didnt want it to effect the party..cant change whats done..so we got our sorcerer card after we came in at about 4:30 and then headed towards fantasyland at about 4:40 and did pictures and the teacups (wonderland characters were already gone for the day) and such for awhile til it started to drizzle again. We then got in line for the dwarves and *enjoyed* sitting in the rain in costumes.

By time the rain stopped it was to late to run to main street to get food so I just went into Pinocchio's and spend $20 on fries&drinks

that we barely finished by time it was 6:45 and they started prepping the line for the dwaves to come out...so here's a list of what we ended up getting done:
Dwarves
Pooh Gang -which ended up being the only really sucky part of the party..when they came out last night Eeyore "couldn't find his tail" so he wasn't out so it was just the other 3 which was very upsetting for us since we wanted to meet all 4 and Eeyore is mom's favorite and I know i'd have been devastated if my favorite (Tigger) wasn't there...I know things happen but its just really sad that Eeyore couldn't have gotten himself ready in time...but if we didn't meet them now then we wouldn't have had time later.
QoH
Lotso
Dance party x2
Alice&Hatter -Which was one of 2 of the long lines we ended up doing all night..they were a must for us due to our costumes...but it was about a 30min wait...They are probably one of the most interactive characters so its normal for them to take a long time with each family which you want when its your turn so its understandable but we were so afraid they'd go in before we got to them even though we were told we'd make it in time aswell as the family behind us. but when it got to the last 3 (family ahead,us, and behind) the cm said they were only out for 6 more mins and since they were spending 4-5 with each family so it started getting really frustrating..We all would have been quite upset if we waited 30 mins and were told we'd meet them and then not be able to but we all ended up meeting them..we met them at about 8:50 and I know they were to go in at 8:45 so i'm glad they let them stay out to get to the people they promised seeing as never once did a cm motion to them to hurry..but the meeting and interaction with them was priceless..it was a little rushed by time it was our turn plus we were rushing ourselves because we wanted the family behind us to have time aswell..but a greet character greeting indeed
Light ToTing
HM for photos
Hitchhiking PP -Splash mountain area right were Woody/Jessie meet during the day
Cadaver Dans -Which has been on our
MNSSHP bucket list esp. my sisters who absolutely loves the dans..and we always miss them..so we were so happy when we happened to be going by and heard them..and we managed to catch them on there last song.
Donald/Daisy/Minnie - This was the only other slightly long line we waited in..it took us probably about 20 mins from getting in line to finishing with them..and there was 1 set change about half way thru but they did it very quickly and they were gone probably less than 5 mins..so I give good props to Disney on that.
Hocus Show
Parade
Cauldron shot- on MS after close (it&the hitchhiking photo is still not in our account so I have to write them so not sure if either shot came out decent or not lol) we also got a video of the dancing ghosts..which i'm probably the only one but its just weird and dumb to me
i'm uploading my like 800 pics now..i'm excited to see them and I hope they turned out well..it was my first time taking my new lens to Disney and really my first time getting to play with the lens aswell..so hopefully there good photos
but all in all we got all our whole must do list done and I didn't feel we really rushed at any point except going from frontierland to Casey's to get in line for Minnie...and the weather turned out perfect!! Not a drop of rain after like 6:30ish and it was quite chilly actually by time 10 rolled around..it was kinda nice..til after parade then we were all shivering which is like unheard of for us so early in Oct here lol. Crowd levels werent insane..at times there would be a lot in one area but never unmanageable..but I think everyone has different opinions on whats crowded.
I didn't really pay too much attention to crowd levels during 2nd parade but it looks like it was 2 rows deep in most areas down MS but not insanely packed. Also didnt really pay attention to non-banders..Only time we were checked was in line for dwarves and walking through fantasy land later on..mom did say she was checked at a candy spot but she had long sleeves on so maybe thats why since they couldnt see it...but most everybody I saw was dressed up so I think Disney is doing a whole lot better on clearing them out.
We ended up getting quite a lot of candy for people who weren't even going to ToTing last night

After we went 2 years ago and did lots of ToTing and then found that every chocolate candy in the bag tasted disgusting (which we figured could have just been some unlucky chance or something) but then a coworker brought her pounds of it in last year from her party and it tasted the same to me so we decided to never ToT again...but we hit the peter pan spot for the heck of it and I do like there lollypops...and I got a snicker and it tasted just fine so we ended up doing light ToTing through the night..the candy lines we saw or did were averagely long but moved swiftly..except for one..because the Cm was letting people pick what they wanted out of it *facepalm* but at one point during the night a very sweet CM got a empty bag and filled it up and gave it to my sister..which was very kind of him

I did see what a lot of people were talking about that the cms were only giving a few pieces..most spots we hit we were given 4-8 pieces and it just depended on what they grabbed if it was 4-8 bite sized candies or something bigger..and when we went 2 years ago when we hit the the spots the last 5mins of the party they were filling bags with them since it was the end but last night they just gave a slightly bigger handful..but honestly it wasn't a big deal to us..we weren't there for candy this year..and we still came home with a good sized bag full.

We didn't hit all the different spots but we hit one by Tom Sawyer and it was mini chocolate peeps. Mom hit one in tomorrowland and got craisins, and we hit one across from Ariel and it was werthers. We did the Caseys to tomorrowland trail which ONLY goes from from Caseys to tomorrowland..you cant go both ways. Also I thought Splash was still a trail..when we went last night it was just 1 stop

it was our favorite spot from 2 years ago that we did.
I didn't do any shopping or get any Halloween food but I did see the the cauldron cup and the haunted souvenir cup and popcorn bucket along with the vamp mickey popcorn bucket..there was a cm walking down MS before parade showing it off and I heard her say they were at the popcorn stand by the entrance. ..and a Cm told us/was promoting the 1 day memory maker and that we could get it at city hall..so for those wondering if it was active yet..and she said it was $39
